The hotel and the staff were ok, but the room was too small and the bathroom was tiny, the shower was so uncomfortable to use it, and the room smell really bad, can’t barely walk into the room cause was too tiny.

Good afternnon.It's concerning to hear such things; first the room. You booked a single, but we freely upgraded to a double. The rooms are cleaned every day, so we really doubt it could have smelled bad. Nobody ever complained about the shower, so it's strange you are the first. You didn't even mention that we freely let you store the bags the day after, even if in some other places they charge you for that; such a shame. You barely stayed a night, if there really were any problems, you could have told us, and we would have handled them.

My stay here for 2 nights was wonderful, they have great rooms with air conditioning, the breakfast buffet was amazing, and all the staff were extremely helpful giving information about the area and public transportation. Only downfall I found with this hotel is that it is about 2km from the actual city of Sorrento meaning there are limited dining options around the area.

This was a great stay. My wife and I stayed for 9 nights! The best thing about Hotel Club is the staff. They are friendly and hospitable. If you get to know them and talk to them they will make sure you are treated like family. It was a pleasure to be apart of that during our stay. The hotel itself is clean and beautiful. They have wonderful sub sections of the hotel, breakfast/dinner area, bar and lounge, pool area, and rooftop terrace. Great way to meet new people and not be in the room. The location in Sant’ Angello is awesome! Great big church across the street, and a choice of three different and fantastic bars across the street. The train station is down the street (5 min walk) and great restaurants, we recommend Ristorante Moonlight. Overall Hotel Club is simple, sweet, and the perfect place if you want to enjoy your stay in the Sorrento area. 5 out of 5 stars!

Definitely not 4 star. Approx 10min walk from sanit Angelo train station, beds rock hard and lumpy thin pillows which made it almost impossible to have a good nights sleep which affected our whole trip. Room was large though with balcony over looking pool and well insulated considering right next to train line. would prefer smaller room with a good mattress. Shower pressure was good if you could fit in, the smallest shower I’ve ever seen, 66cm x 66cm. Don’t drop the soap as you can’t pick it up and trying to wash your hair with your arms hitting the sides was difficult. Kettle in room but no tea, coffe or milk. Our fridge didn’t work , nore did other guests we spoke to. It is clean and the pool was great to come back to after a long day out to cool off in though. Breakfast average, cold eggs and not even much of a continental. Would not stay here again or recommend , mainly due to the bad bed, pillows and tiny shower.

Unfortunately this is the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in and the smallest shower stall. Very disappointing barely enough room for 2 people. The staff were nice so that helped. Pool was just ok. The breakfast was not gteat but at least it jad coffee. The hotel could do with an upgrade overall. Pictures provided are from like 5-6 years ago. Our room wasn't even shown. About a 30mins walk to Sorrento. Overall i wouldn't go back or even recommend

Amazing service! So friendly, nothing was a trouble - felt like you were speaking to people you’d known for a long time!! Amazing amenities - pool is lovely and the courtyard is a real sun trap. Amazing place!

Overall well kept and managed hotel. Staff went above and beyond to help and were clear with directions. Pool is well maintained and surrounding area is safe with good restaurants. Only issue being that there was no laundry available despite it being advertised on the website, however the staff were apologetic and advised me on the closest laundromat. Very nice stay!

Lovely hotel. Bedroom and bathroom spotless clean. Comfy bed. Big balcony for us to sit on a night with a glass of wine. Large selection of food for breakfast. Friendly and pleasant staff nothing to much trouble. Roof terrace and jacuzzi if wanted at additional cost. A 30 minute walk into Sorrento or you can catch the bus or train.

Disappointed.
I am writing my first review since I was so disappointed with my stay. I believe we were given the worst room available. Booked a standard double room but received 4 single beds. We pushed two beds together but the sheets were single. The room did not look like the website photos. The room entry was from the courtyard and it is on the other side of the breakfast/dinning room. The door key was a manual key that took forever to open each time. The beds were uncomfortable. The bathroom is small with a tiny shower that didn't drain well. I had to shower, let the water drain, then wash my feet before getting out. It was so annoying. My first night there, I showered in cold water without realizing the water heater was down. I was not a happy camper. The breakfast was ok. I basically ate a croissant with ham and cheese. Hot food was scrambled egg and mini hotdogs. The staff was friendly and helpful but I would not return in the future.

Friendly Hotel
Very friendly greeting on arrival and a glass of prosecco. Decorated lovely throughout. Had balcony with pool view. Room was spacious with air conditioning, free safe, hairdryer. No fridge or tea/coffee making facilities and not much in the way of toiletries but this wasn't a problem. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Pool area cleaned daily and there is also a roof top terrace with jacuzzis (chargeable). Great location with train station about 10 min walk and bus stop at the top of the road. Plenty of shops, restaurants and bars in the area. Beach about 15 min walk which has a lift down to it which costs 1 euro to use. Not much sand area but plenty of loungers which are 10 euro to hire for the day.

Very nice hotel close to transport
We stayed for two weeks, the staff were very helpful and went out of their way to help. Very well located for transport links to go to Amalfie coast, Capri, Pompei and Naples. Sorrento is just a couple of bus stops away. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Nice quiet hotel with welcoming and friendly staff
Nice quiet and relaxing hotel with pool, shaded garden area and a new rooftop area with sunbeds and soon to be operative jacuzzis (×4). Very friendly and welcoming staff. Situated in a quiet road, close to bars and restaurants of St Agnello (100m). Located 50m to bus stops for Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento etc. 400m to Circumvesuia train station for local trains to Sorrento (1 stop), Pompei, Versuvius, Herculanium and Naples.

Good staff but not great hotel
Hotel was/is 4 star but not sure how... i stayed in a single room which was less then 6ft wide and about 10ft long not to mention very tired! the bathroom was just a shower with a shower curtain that was barely on. Breakfast was ok; not much choice and no variety for the 4 nights I stayed. also no ironing facilities... had to go to a launderette down the road. Staff were really good though and very helpful with Taxi's/directions etc.

Tiny single room next to railway line. No air conditioning. Shower was about 50cm X 50cm and the drain did not work so after a two minute shower the bathroom was flooded. Room was clean but towel was dirty.

Lovely family run hotel.
We had a great holiday and would happily recommend this hotel. It was clean and well managed. The staff were very helpful and gave us lots of information about the surrounding area and the best way to get to see the sights.

Good location, wonderful staff
The Club Hotel worked well for me. It has an easy location to walk into Sorrento or over to the train to go towards Naples. The staff is exceedingly nice. The hotel manager even was up at 4:15am to see us off when our driver came to pick us up. They have a nightly dinner menu which offered variety and a fair price. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Ideal to go to Pompeii
We stayed in the hotel on a three night stay to visit Pompeii, Herculaneum and Sorrento. The station was 5 minutes walk away - which was what we wanted and from the moment we walked through the door the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and the towels were changed every day and our room was cleaned. We were so tired at the end of the day that we were very happy to eat in the restaurant where we had good, tasty italian home cooking, decently priced wine to choose from and finally were sung italian opera by one of the waiters. A lovely rest and although very close to the railway line never really noticed the trains.

A five minute drive to the center in a nice area of town. Breakfast was ok -- but included in the price. Parking was a great amenity! Good location for visitors looking to spend a few days in Sorrento and Capri.

Best possible location
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who gave us all the travel info we needed to travel around Italy. Breakfast was simply amazing and the staff were attentive. The hotel was spotless and so were the rooms. Great location split between Sorrento and S.Agnello within a short walk of both stations. I would love to stay here again. Ignore any negative comments about this hotel re: trains you can barely notice them. Perfect
