"I LOVED House Mayfa! After making the cottage my home for 65 nights I was very sad to leave. It is on a quiet road that dead ends at an old dairy farm. Neighbors are quiet and respectful. The home is quaint and extremely comfortable. The hosts have incorporated lots of local and tasteful antiques and accessories. The house has a well stocked kitchen and can accommodate entertaining friends with the provision of nice silver and china. Items for children are available if desired. The home is well situated and one can easily access shopping, tourist location, and other places of interest. Frankfurt, Stuttgart, and Gerardmer are easy drives within 2 or 3 hours. As a solo female traveler I felt extremely safe at House Mayfa. The hosts were accessible at a moments notice to address any issues or provide advice."

"This property was very clean, comfortable, and inviting. The hosts were very gracious and helpful. The grounds were lovely, with patio, arbor, large trees, fruit trees, and garden. Very relaxing atmosphere. We were here for six nights, and really enjoyed our stay. This property has everything you need! I highly recommend it!"

"Hotel is located on a hill overlooking the valley - wonderful sunrise views. Property is well maintained and rooms/bathrooms well appointed. One issue for us - we may have been placed into an accessible room - the bathroom light was tied to the door of the bathroom opening - there was no way to control the light other than the door (I asked). If you use the bathroom at night, and do not want the light to come on - you had to pull your key out of the main switch at the wall which cut all power in the room (so we couldn't charge our phones). Minor irritant for an otherwise pleasant stay."
