The building was ok, a little aged, but well-kept and clean. However, every single employee could not have been more polite and helpful. They were all so nice and polite, from maintenance, housekeeping, to the front desk. Everyone was so nice. Always saying hello, making sure they were out of our way, and asking if we needed anything. Will definitely stay here again when traveling to South Bend.

They need to do a better job of cleaning the room before new guests arrive. We found a clump of hair in the shower and there was hair on the carpet that was sticking to my feet. I felt like the room was small for the price. There was only one sink in the room and it was the bathroom sink. I brought my own body wash from home so it wasn't an issue, but the refillable body wash bottle in the shower was empty when we arrived. The fridge in the room was a mini fridge. I felt like they did the bare minimum cleaning after the previous guest. They do allow pets but they charge a $75 fee. I only stayed for 2 nights but if you stay more than 6 nights they also charge you an additional $100 cleaning fee if you bring your pet. They do offer breakfast between 7am and 10am but I ended up eating at a nearby restaurant because I was already unimpressed with the cleanliness of the room.
