"Alex and Avi were wonderful hosts, from allowing early check-in to offering trips into the Bay on their boat. I had plenty of space to read and relax in the guesthouse, with Savusavu’s main street an easy 20 minute taxi ride away (they have a driver they use who they can call on your behalf). I had free use of sea kayaks, and I paid Alex to take me on a snorkeling trip near a sand bar. I recommend booking here!"

"The view from the deck is mesmerising, watching the waves break at the lagoon's coral edge. And wandering down the steps to the beach for a swim and some shell therapy. The bach is spacious and has got everything you need. Perfect little holiday get-away spot for the self-sufficient traveller."

"What a stay at Lyas Bungalow 2! Tucked away on a private section, surrounded by foliage and the odd chicken or two. Walking distance to Little Polynesian restaurant and some very nice cafe's. Bed was very comfy and although we didn't utilize the kitchen area it was fully stocked with everything you could need. The laundry was super handy after using the mud buggys! We have nothing negative to say, would definitely use Lyas again if we come back. 10/10"

"What a fabulous place to stay; the most charming hosts in such a peaceful location. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, ADULTS ONLY, in the most beautiful position. We were three metres from the pool and 15 metres from the sea, with uninterrupted views, except for the coconut palms. I cannot recommend it enough, if you want to avoid the resort life and just relax this is the place."

"Mango cottage is a fabulous place to stay. Tony & Lhia are wonderful hosts and make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. The cottage has everything you need with the added bonus of the pool. It is lovely and quiet, and the perfect place to base yourself for travelling around the island with Muri just down the road. The perfect place to relax and unwind."

It was a wonderful vacation all around and definitely the most beautiful place I have ever stayed! The private beach was wonderful and honestly, I never wanted to leave! "Rob and Deborah were terrific hosts! Easy to communicate with and so willing to help - as an example a new table lamp was provided as soon as we asked for better light to read by. We were invited to help ourselves to passionfruit which were plentiful and luscious. Paw paw were delivered to our doorstep. Great to have our laundry done for us for a small fee. The beach is almost deserted, white sands, clear water and blue herons fishing. Lovely little islands offshore. The cottage was perfect...

"If you love nature and some peace and quiet you will love this place. The walk up to the water intake was amazing, the pigs and dogs across from the property were just so cute we even fed them while on our stay there. The property itself was amazing had everything we needed and if you had a long day there’s nothing better than to come home relax and enjoy Mother Nature. Would definitely come back here."

"We stayed at Fare Matairoa for our first visit to Moorea in mid January. The property was exactly as described and an excellent place to stay. We had 2 couples and were very comfortable with the two AC bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and could be used for preparing all meals. There is a well stocked grocery within walking which we used for drinks, breakfast supplies and other sundry's. "We loved our stay at Moana Sunset, right on the beach, private and convenient - wonderful! The studio is not new but is very well priced and equipped with everything you could possibly need - it would have been very easy to grab a few bags of groceries and simply stay put and enjoy! Tons of covered outdoor space - we had a lot of rain but it was still lovely to sit under cover and read or watch the tide on the reef.
