"The area is off the beaten path. It's quiet and I felt safe. It's pet friendly and I just needed a clean safe place to stay for an event nearby. I would stay here again."

"The General Denver Hotel is a historic site. It looks like an old ski lodge. We find it to be very cute. There is a restaurant and 2 bars downstairs, the food, drinks and service are really good. This is our go to place when we are in Ohio for tue ren faire."
"Staff was very kind and friendly, hotel was clean, maintained. Convenient location to the festival we went to and central to shopping stores (Walmart, 5Below, Dollar stores, Marshalls, Tmobile, Krogers, Goodwill, Aldi being built, etc...) Will definitely book with them again! "
"I just wanted to get away for the Labor Day weekend with my dog. The cabin was exactly like its pictures. It’s definitely a fisherman or hunters cabin, but it was very clean and actually had everything that I needed. Don’t expect five star or even a four star but again like I said, it was very nice and clean comfortable. Had a fire pit and the park style grill. Right across the street was a boat ramp and that walked around to the beach.."
"The house is very private, comfortable and well appointed with all of the necessities. We were three couples and we were all were very happy with our bedrooms and the communal areas - the porches, the great room with the comfortable couches and chairs, big table, games, and the ample well equipped kitchen. This place is awesome!"

"Host was very responsive to any question we had and more than accommodating. As for the house itself nice location super clean comfy beds and couch basically new inside including appliances floors etc. little old style enamel sinks and decor. Would recommend to anyone wanting a great place to stay. "

"My husband wanted to check out Serpent Mound and other historical sites. Lisa and Phil gave us great tips about the area and were super friendly and helpful. The place is very private, beautifully decorated and you cannot beat the scenery! Cute town, Hillsboro,10 min away. We were hiking both days and loved coming back to a nice soak in the hot tub."
