Air conditioning did not work. We had to change a couple of rooms to get better service. Refrigerators in all rooms did not work, and it took some time to fix it. The Internet did not work and we had to wait for a couple of days, while they were working on restoring it.

Really pleased with the quality of service from the staff at all times. 5 stars all around. We had to make cancellations for our wine tasting we booked, the hotel made a great recommendation which we really enjoyed. The hotel accommodated all of our requests promptly. We also had a misunderstanding with the local taxi company, but the hotel were happy to help and mediate the problem. They also sent us a lovely note and a bottle of wine for the inconvenience caused for the misunderstanding. Amazing hotel in beautiful surroundings. Breakfast and Dinner in the Hotel Restaurant was great too.

The lovely, helpful and friendly staff just about make this hotel palatable. This is a tired and worn-out hotel - the room smelt old and musty - the decor looked from the 80’s - as was the breakfast room! The long drive is pitted with potholes. The main saving grace was a good swimming pool - serving excellent lunches in a loggia overlooking the pool. Hilton - you need to spend money on this property - you have great staff who are the biggest asset!

Every part of the experience was perfect. The room, the views, the staff, the spa, the wedding I was there for. It is a place out of a fairy tale. Gorgeous. The breakfast is worth the money and so convenient. The shuttles to and from the spa and Sara at the spa was above all the rest. Helped make my friend, the bride, feel so welcome. Can’t wait to come back.

Not a 5 star resort - do not stay there
La Bagnaia is a disgrace and a mischievous rip off. Bagnaia is the main hotel, but what does not appear on Hotels.com is that they have a second part to the hotel, Borgo Filetta. Bagnaia has all the amenities, pool, views etc, while remote Filetta on the other side of the highway has nothing. So beware as Filetta which can feature max 3 stars is being advertised as Bagnaia (5 stars) on Hotels.com. The management and staff know about this but nothing is being done to correct this. The surroundings look really nice but apart from this, Bagnaia is not at the level of a 5 star resort: No service at the pool (lack of towels and no staff seems to care), way to few sun beds for the amount of guests, very poor breakfast and basic options cost extra. The bed was very narrow in our room and on wheels. Staff could not fix the bed rolling in all directions. Pass your way, this place has too many issues and it would be a pity to ruin a vacation in Tuscany by staying there.

Relaxing time
A great hotel in Tuscany. It was very quiet where we stayed, which was a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff was very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. We don’t golf but noticed how beautiful their course was.

While the AC is turned off for the season and the computer in the business center is useless due to the software prohibiting the use of any scripts, the resort is still remarkable. The bed is comfortable and the breakfast is the best we've found in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has the best accommodations that you will find in all of Siena.

Grand tuscan style resort & golf & spa
Huge resort tuscan style with golf course and spa, location is good to explore the tuscan region, the rooms are clean and decent size.an espresso coffeee machine would have been a good addition to room which was missing, bathrooms are clean with designer toiletries. They have a huge spa with indoor pool and a mineral outdoor pool witha gym and sauna, steam, and jacuzzi facilities.

Beautiful place but a couple of things let it down
Great Location, beautiful environment, and lovely bedroom in the 1000 year old Canons house. Two gripes. I went jogging around the estate, but was told by the green-keepers that I couldn't run anywhere on the golf course nor in the woods, so I ended running on a main road. I checked the literature and it said that there were jogging trails, and the wood was marked "Woodland Walks", so I asked the concierge and he said that there were no jogging trail maps! My second gripe was the service on the Sunday. The pool side bar was not manned for many hours, and when it was the food available had been limited...for example the menu (Which only has 6 or so items on it) included Melon and Ham, but this was had run out. Frustratingly, someone else in our party ordered a cheese and ham Toastie, and that arrived with Ham, and someone else ordered Fruit and icecream.....the fruit was Melon.....So they could have served Melon and Ham. Generally the service felt a little "Stubborn".

Beautiful property! Pros: Big pool Nearby bar Rooms were spacious Great views from every corner Pizza restaurant near spa was delicious and did take out - cheaper and better food than the nicer main restaurant Shuttle service was quick Cons: Seemed like AC was not working because the room would never get cool enough Spa facilities were nice but for the price would expect better service (ie tea/water before a massage, quietness, robes to wear until the service) instead it was loud from kids splashing in the pool and felt uncomfortable sitting and waiting in towels

For Golf Lovers
This property is fairly new and still adding to it. The rooms, view, and golf are amazing Only 2 places to eat at the hotel. One pub and one fine dining. The breakfasts were terrific but we ate at the pub twice and both times the food was awful. Since you are located in a remote area the closest to get food would be a 20-30 minute drive to Sienna. We would love to visit again because of the golf and view.

Great resort and very well located.
If you want a great experience, great service, a great golf course and like receiving first class service from excellent people then this is a must do. Also very well located with Siena and Florence a short distance away.

Quiet countryside location.
Rooms in La Filetta close to a main road, other part of hotel quiet. Restaurant too expensive by local standards and other nearby restaurants much better quality and presentation. Good swimming pool and attentive staff. Soft drinks at pool bar very expensive.

It's as if Hilton Hotels didn't know what to do with the massive amount of space at the property. Staff was excellent, and rooms were nice, but had a musty smell. Restaurant for dinner was way too expensive, yet free breakfast was outstanding. The signage to find the hotel was awful. Hilton needs to figure out the areas's potential - need closer fitness facility, need ping pong tables near pool, need to make ice available, need to offer basic hotel services.

AMAZING resort in the heart of Tuscany!
The photos on Expedia don't do this place justice! It's like Pebble Beach, CordeValle and the movie Under the Tuscan Sun all wrapped into one. World Class Robert Trent Jones Golf Course, large lounging pool, big rooms, first class service and an incredible history. This hotel used to be a whole small village as early as the year 1100. Yes 1100. There is a small church and a well on the property that look like movie props. Rolling hills, Tuscan farm houses and a PGA-worthy golf course line the country side. Our room had a view that we laughed at every morning because it was so gorgeous. Each day of our 3 day trip we would marvel at the detail of things you don't notice at first. For example the restaurant waiters wear tuxedos...all day long. The glassware is real crystal, the wine list has bottles worth over $2,000, the breakfast, that is included, has "all the finest meats and cheeses". The staff set up a special table for our family of 5 everyday anticipating our arrival at breakfast. The bartender at the pool, also wearing a tuxedo, made special drinks for the kids. We stayed in the Suite because that was the only room that would take 2 adults and 2 kids, and we asked for an extra bed for our 3rd child and two people, one of which was wearing a French maid uniform, promptly brought us a roll away. Not cheap as they charge €60 (about $84) per night for the extra bed. But worth it. We would stay here for a month if we could. Pay the money, book it.

Borga la Bagnaia .. paradise lost?
A beautiful place in a gorgeous setting. You may get lost finding it, but it's worth the drive. The nicest bathroom in all the places we stayed. The europeans could still increase the shower width a bit. Bend over to pick up your soap and you bump the handle and change the water temp. And I'm a small guy. The grounds and pool are beautiful but I get tired of places that charge for every amenity that should come with the price of entry. Internet, movies, and the continental breakfast.

Excellent Hotel
We explred Tuscany for 5 days. The hotel is located right outside of Siena, very convinient. The property is very beautiful and very well maintained. The only drawback was that the pool is a bit cold.

Struttura immersa nel bellissimo verde della campagna senese con edifici di aspetto medioevale all’interno ristrutturati, confortevoli e di ottima progettazione. Campo da golf 18 buche non facile soprattutto per chi non v’ha mai giocato. Personale molto gentile e disponibile anche se al ristorante giovane e poco esperto.

Wir haben das Golf&Spa Hotel gebucht, da es angeblich einen Spa und Fitness-Bereich hat. Beides wurde renoviert und war somit nicht nutzbar. Der Pool war ein Tag nicht nutzbar, da ein Hund dort schwimmen gegangen ist. Das hat man vor Ort dann versucht mit Chemikalien zu beheben. Damit war für uns die Nutzung des Pools für den Resturlaub auch kein Thema mehr. Insgesamt für ein Golf&Spa-Hotel viel zu teuer in Bezug auf Preis/Leistung. Leider wurde für den nicht vorhandenen Spa und Fittnessbereich auch kein Preisabschlag gewährt. Eine Frechheit.

La Bagnaia loont echt de moeite!!!
Heel mooi verblijf in een schitterende omgeving, ruime kamers maar wat verouderd. Uitgebreid en erg verzorgd ontbijt met voldoende Corona voorzorgen . Goede keuken maar te beperkte keuken . Veel lof voor het personeel! Prachtig en uitdagend golfterrein. Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding zeer gunstig.
