“Excellent communication from the start. The check in process couldn’t have been any easier. I travel to the black hills area multiple times a year with my Weimaraner (now 2 weims). Even my girls seemed at ease. Traveling with dogs can be very difficult. It was nice to be able to settle in so effortlessly. Every time we would leave to go hike some trails and come back, they both acted like they do at home! The house is located in a great spot to be far enough from over crowded tourist areas but……

“We had 3 awesome nights to hang out at the cabin. We packed so much into our days that it was so nice and comfortable to come back to and kick our feet up at night. The views were outstanding. We had visits from the local doe and her fawn, a coyote pup one night, and breakfast with the birds outback. Super neat to see what the ranger station used to look like before they upgraded it. We would love to come back someday! ”

“Beautiful log home! We had everything we needed for our family of five. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and being able to hear the nearby stream. An easy drive from Rapid City. We hope to return to this area again!”

“Very nice cabin. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Hosts had bathroom stocked with toiletries. Residential neighborhood, it was quiet, no direct neighbors. We enjoyed the porch area. Nicely decorated. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was the perfect size for us, and we loved being able to take our pup along! The location is great and the neighborhood is really quiet. This was one of the cleanest VRBOs we’ve stayed in. The beds were very comfortable and the house is decorated beautifully. We would love to stay again sometime! Our only complaints were the squeaky bathroom door and the igniter on the grill that didn’t work, but those didn’t affect how much we enjoyed our time at this……

“The place is great and gave us everything we were looking for. 2 adults and our 3 grandkids had a blast. Al and Rosemary are the best. They gave us all the information we needed and more. Their communication is some of the best of any VRBO we have stayed in. (probably about 15 times we have done this).”

“It is easy to locate. It was clean and very suitable for outdoor activities from the fire pit to Air Hockey table to the bean bags and bottle bash games. We were close to trails and could just leave from the cabin to go on the ATV trails. There was plenty of room for the kids to play outside. ”
