"Ich war zum ersten Mal im Hotel Cocoon in Salzburg, nachdem ich bereits mehrfach und sehr zufrieden in München Cocoon übernachtet habe. Die Lage ist wirklich ideal – nur zwei Minuten zu Fuß vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt, mit hervorragenden Verbindungen in die Stadt und vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Obwohl die Umgebung lebhaft ist, konnte ich überraschend gut schlafen. Ein ungewöhnliches Detail war der schiefe Spiegelbogen über meinem Bett, der mich etwas beunruhigt hat, da er direkt über meinem Kopf hing. Die Nachtrezeptionistin war zunächst zögerlich bei meiner Bitte um einen Zimmerwechsel, erfüllte diesen Wunsch dann aber trotzig. Im neuen Zimmer funktionierten allerdings einige Lichter nicht. Ganz anders erlebte ich das Team an der Rezeption beim Ein- und Auschecken sowie die Küche – durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Da ich vegan lebe, habe ich das Frühstück nicht gebucht, deswegen kann ich nicht bewerten. Besonders gut gefallen hat mir das natürliche Ambiente mit singenden Vögeln in den Fluren und den Aufzügen sowie die liebevolle Dekoration mit Pflanzen und die kostenlosen Getränke wie Wasser und Äpfel – ein schönes, erfrischendes Detail. Ein tolles Extra ist die Gästekarte, die kostenfreie Nutzung des öffentlichen Nahverkehrs ermöglicht – das macht Ausflüge und Stadterkundungen besonders angenehm. "I stayed 8 nights. The room was clean! So, I’m almost always a return customer to a hotel when I’m in a clean breathable room. There was no carpet, so I did not have to deal with allergy issues. I also loved the hot showers, and the hotel does not skimp on heat in cool months. It was always toasty when walking onto the floor where my room was situated. I would have given staff a 5 but they didn’t all seem to go through the same training. …most staff were warm and extremely helpful (especially the woman who checked me in and the gentleman who checked me out) but twice I asked a question at reception and was met with short responses. Hope management takes note. I would definitely choose this hotel again. "

"Breakfast was not included, but we had both breakfast and a lunch in the Sky Bar rooftop. The staff was incredible from our arrival til we left. Toby helped us get our car to the garage, Michael was my go to for everything! We had an issue with our shower and the maintenance showed up immediately. A day later he gave us help finding a doctor for my friend. Every person at the desk was the most helpful. "

"The hotel is in a great location opposite the Mirabell Gardens and superb public transport is outside too with a direct service to and from the airport (bus no 2). The reception and breakfast staff are amazing and the Gluewien in the cafe is the best in Salzburg- we did extensive testing! The breakfast set us up for the day and was very good. All tastes are catered for with fresh eggs available to order. Some might say the room is small however it is more than adequate with big bed (extra pillows from reception) 2 chairs to and shower in the bathroom. It is not a modern character less hotel like a Travelodge or Premier Inn etc. there are fast food places nearby or wander for 5-10 minutes for great restaurants. Overall highly recommended."
