Hotel OK, the restaurant a disaster
G9 is a professionally run, obviously newly opened hotel that lives up to the standards of the Zelenogorsk resort when it comes to the staff at the reception, cleanliness of the rooms etc. There were problems with the WiFi however, and the information folder in the room was only in Russian, and this a minus in a hotel that obviously has an ambition to cater to an international clientele. The restaurant (run by an independent company?) was OK at lunch time but the breakfast was a complete disaster. It took our group of ten persons an hour and a half to get a cup of coffee and a pre-selected breakfast plate in which half of the promised ingredients were missing. As the whole operation operation could only start at 9 am (which is not serious!), the consequence was that we lost almost three hours from our planned program for the day.
