We were in Stockholm last month and stayed at the Hotel C Stockholm. This is conveniently located very close to Stockholm Central Station and about a 10-minute walk from City Hall. The staff is very nice & knowledgeable. The breakfast area is large and busy. They do not prepare any items to order. The rooms are satisfactory but the cabinets for clothes do have any shelves. I needed to sit on the floor to use this furniture. There are many cafes, restaurants and shops close to this location. Overall we recommend this hotel.

Hotel C was in a great location near the Central Station and that Is why we chose it. Compared to 2 others we had stayed at in Norway, this hotel had somewhat larger rooms. The Bathrooms had been redone and were very nice. The cabinets had no shelves, and the floor in the room was scratched and in bad repair. The beds were comfortable. And the breakfast was the typical European spread. That was quite good. We stay in Holiday Inn Express hotels in the US, and this hotel room was very lacking in comparison to those.

The biggest assets of the hotel are the friendly and helpful staff and it’s locations; within walking distance to old town and many of the city’s tourist attractions, restaurants, and cafes, not to mention that it’s right in front of the Arlanda Express and the train station. The room itself was much smaller than what it looks in the pictures; the chair barely fit between and bed and the window. It was a double room but big enough for one person. The chair was stained and should have been reupholstered or replaced a while back. But I liked that I could open a small window and get some fresh air in my room. The closet was so small that even after I took out the ironing board when I hung in my coat I was only able to hang there two more items. No shelves to put your clothes on so basically I had to keep everything in the suitcase.

I was pleased to find the hotel is only about 100 steps from the station where the efficient express airport train stops. The hotel also is very conveniently located for walking around Gamla Stan. The room was small but clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet, which is included, is far and away the most extensive and pleasant I have encountered when traveling.
