Horrible place! It seems to be more of a long term residence for physical rehabs than a hotel/motel for public use. (Sign at front desk mentions weekly "wellness checks" which I suppose is because most everyone there has health issues.) Everything is filthy and poorly maintained. My bed linens were badly stained. Carpets were very badly stained. (I literally slept on top of the sheets in long pj's and a jacket, and used my own pillow, which I laid on top of its plastic bag so it would n't touch the bed.) Signs on room doors warning you of their pets (cats & dogs) that are inside. The "residents" hang around outside the main entrance chatting and smoking. (Creepy old guy in wheelchair kept trying to talk with me as I walked by when unloading my luggage.) If it had not been so late (after 11PM) and in the middle of nowhere Vermont, I would have looked for another place to stay. Friends on the same trip with me had similar experiences at the only other nearby hotels. This place should NOT be listed on Expedia or any hotel rental site!

I thought this would be a nicer spot, but it was pretty gross. The curtains were ratty, the carpet had stains all over it, there was a straight edge razor blade stuck under the mirror in the bathroom. It also felt like this was a halfway house. Definitely somewhere I will never stay again.
