“A very unique little house close to town and the beach and other amenities. Loved learning the history of the place. It was warm and comfortable. The hosts were very generous with goodies for breakfast. Appreciated washing machine and dishwasher. Loved our stay”

“Check in staff very courteous and helpful. Room was very clean and well layed out. Bathroom was modern with shower in bath arrangement. Besides the usual, also had toaster and microwave oven, which was handy. Not far from anything. Beach and shops about a 5-10 min walk away. Quiet up on the 4th floor. Would definitely recommend.”

When return to Devonport, will stay in The Grand as it was the high point of our lodging during our trip to Tasmania. Breakfasts are a delight, a five-star dining experience. It is convenient to the ferry terminal and a short walk to shopping and restaurants. Cradle Mountain and Narawntapu National Park are easily visited on a day trip. ”
