It is a good long drive to Acadia each morning but we knew that when we booked it. No washer/dryer or dishwasher ... or closets. So small that hanging your towel up in the bathroom is a question. Although Bar Harbor/Acadia was 40 minutes away it was an excellent property on a relatively quiet Penninsula. The sunrises were magnificent. Unmatched. The place was clean and well appointed. Our only negative remark \~ which didn’t deter us \~ no dishwasher and no laundry on the property. I traveled with my three children, and while it was a bit of a tight fit in the cabin with all four of us, the space was well appointed and well organized.
