"It is a lovely small hotel. I liked it a lot. Very clean and they welcomed me like a friend. The breakfasts were great. The only thing why I didn’t give them an excellent was, the room was cold and the heater was not working adequately. We had a few very stormy and rainy days, so some heat would have been helful!"

"Really lovely hotel very near the beach and bus stop- we were travelling by public transport. We were given beach access tickets by the hotel as part of the deal which was fab. Very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed in the room, coffee making facilities etc, and extra in the foyer. Lots of cushions!! Checking in time a little restrictive; we just got there by 18.00h and managed to phone for access codes in time. I hadn’t received the text informing us of access codes by that time. "

Hotel choice is minimal in the heart of Sylt, but don't panic just yet. The further you head out from there, the easier it is to find a place to stay. Within a distance of 6 miles, there are 9-listed hotel options.
The Lindner Strand Hotel Windrose is one of a few popular Expedia-listed hotels that are found within an easy drive of Sylt.
There is only a limited range of economical lodgings in this area. You'll find the Landhaus Stricker is one of the better options.
If you are still on the lookout for other hotel choices, look into the DORFHOTEL Sylt and the TOP CountryLine Hotel Roth am Strande. They can be found 5 miles and 3 miles from the center of Sylt. You shouldn't forget about the Hotel Kommandørgården, located 15 miles away from the center.
20 miles to the east of Sylt is Tonder, where you can spend the day exploring the Barrels Golf Club and Det Gamle Apotek. Should you wish to spend a few nights in Tonder, check out the Hotel Tønderhus and Motel Apartments Tønder. 35 miles to the northeast of Sylt you'll find Ribe, home to the Hotel Dagmar and Ribe Byferie Resort.
