Terrible !

Right off the bat we were greeted by a grumpy man who spoke very little English. We get our room number and proceed up the stairs almost being knocked down by the moldy smell, get to our room and our door lock was broken. Walked all the way down stairs to tell the man that we can't even get into our room - no sorry no nothing he just opened the door by slamming his body into it. Get into the room - wrong beds - no cable - beds were terrible. We got our money back and left. Absolutely terrible hotel. We went across the street to Americans best value inn & had no problems at all !

Cons: Cleanliness, anti slip bath mat was stained looked dirty. milk for the coffee was spoiled, 3 attemps. limited food selection Went to eat elsewhere
I guess you get what you pay for!!! Overall pretty disappointed, there was parties going on till about 3am pleople running and screaming and banging. Wholes in the wall, toilet kept running. I would not suggest or return, this hotel needs to invest in its building

Cheap and convenient

Stayed there the night before an early flight. The staff was helpful. Room was clean but very basic. No wifi.

Pros: Location - right off the thruway and close to downtown Syracuse. Price was also very reasonable.
Very reasonably priced and only a few miles from down town.

Great place to spend a night or two

Gina at front desk was very friendly. Even though she had to speak with Expedia since our reservation was never transmitted to the hotel. The place is nothing special, but the room was clean, roomy and fine for spending a night or two. Considering the price I have no issues with this place. Breakfast is included but was limited. Still it had decent coffee, cereal, self made waffles, a few breads/bagels to toast and packaged Danish. 15 min from Syracuse University, there is a Dunkin donuts and Italian restaurant next door.

You get what you pay for

Pros: Location
Cons: Not very clean bathroom and bit of an odour
Basic room reasonably clean. TV stayed glowing all night and could not be turned off. There is a very good Italian restaurant nearby which is a bonus. I would stay again if other motels were booked out but not my first preference.

Don't waste your money on this dump

We reserved three rooms, this is a no smoking facility yeah RIGHT.. Stinks beyond belief.. First room disgusting so I marched to the office and he gives me another room, well we opened the door and the TV is on and no linens on the bed and the bathroom was gross. Back to the office we went third try ok, but no signs on the TV, blow dryer was a fire hazard half melted. Asked for extra pillows he gives them to me with no pillow cases I ask could I please have pillow cases his reply NOW I HAVE TO GO TO THE LAUNDRY ROOM . He informed me they have no maid staff. Truth be told he is renting rooms to families and using this facility as an apartment. Even a charcoal grill out back. Smells of cigarettes and marijuana. And the maintenance man smells of booze and lives in a room there. DISCUSTING FILTHY facility!!

State Fair Trip

Nice location and convenient for what we wanted to do. Bathroom wasn't clean all the way, shower curtain rod broke so couldn't close curtain. Air conditioner worked but couldn't' control temp because switch was stripped out. TV needs to mounted higher, couldn't watch from bed without killing your neck.

not the best

Some confusion with my bill when checking in. Wasn't given good directions to room. Spent time wandering around looking for room. The walls had stains on them as well as the ledge on the tub.
