"The house was large and spacious with more than enough space for our party of 6. The inside of the house was well maintained with nice furniture, TV, and pool table. It was in a very quiet neighborhood with small farms next door. Definitely need a car since there is nothing within walking distance. For the price, this was a good value. On the downside, it seems there is some maintenance work being done outside and the tools and garden hose were just left lying around and were not put away. Ours had 2 sleeping rooms, bathroom, and a small pantry with microwave and coffee machine. The houses are within a green area that includes a pool. Mariana was so nice and helpful. Everyday she prepared us a huge breakfast she was so nice and attentive. Highly recommended."

10/10 Excellent

This was the highlight of our stay in Portugal. The owners of the property (Marta and Iker) are fabulous hosts. They made us feel completely at home. As both of them have experience in the restaurant trade, breakfast (which is included) and snacks were exemplary. They make their own jams/preserves and will even cook you a three course meal if you wish. They were very helpful in giving us advice as to where to visit around Viseu / Tondela and the surrounding area. I watched a World Cup game, on...

I only stayed a night in the hotel . Staff was exceptional . Food from restaurant was delicious both dinner and breakfast ( has fruit, yogurt, toast , etc a lot for €10 euros was def worth it . I didn’t use the spa because it’s outside of main building and it’s €15 euros. I love the location , it’s right in the center and 10 min walk from Christmas wonderland . It was amazing. Agueda is small town but their decorations are breathtaking def worth it. Transportation : they got a small train...

The breakfast was not only fresh, magnificent and delicious, but the view from the terrace is amazing. Very generous. It felt like we were lodging in someone's comfortable home, located in a residential neighborhood but close to the university, shops, etc. Our hosts were invisible most of the time (jn a GOOD way) but always available as we needed them. Coimbra is a lovely, historic destination and this hotel/hostel was the perfect location from which to see and access all of the local...
