Pretty nice hotel. Nothing special about the rooms but public areas very nice. A busy place - lots of groups meeting here. Great breakfast served. Just a couple blocks from train station so pretty convenient.

It was close to Ratina Stadium, had a very good breakfast bar, and was also close to the mall and tour boats, I wish the jacuzzi/spa had hotter water.

Fantastic hotel very clean, good food very helpful and friendly staff. The single bed was too narrow i fell out the bed one night.

ne night in Tampere
Very good Hotel for a one night stay in Tampere. There were too many people around in considering these times - especially the breakfast was a large space full of people, which felt wrong at such a times. So hotel was good - arrangements not.

Ok, but with some problems.
The hotel was pleasantly decorated but for a 4 star hotel somewhat shabby. The service was rather poor. The sauna was not hot, and there was essentially no table service at breakfast, which was not warm in the trays. The desk was ok, except that they misquoted the rate for an additional night. Parking was more expensive than usual. All this was surprising because other Sokos Hotels have had excellent service, and are more reasonably priced.

A great short stay with wonderful views over town
I stayed 1 night as a business traveler. |The hotel is easy to find as you can see it stand above the town. I drove to the hotel and the parking is onsite and easily accessible. Checkin was simple and straight forward. I had a room on the 14th floor, it was a twin bedded room but the beds were right next to each other. The room had a great room over the town and even with the window open it was quiet. The bed was comfortable and the duvet ideal for the time of year. The pillows were probably the only let down and they were ok, just not great. The shower room is compact but has a really good shower and a full depth bowl. Temperature was easy to regulate in the room, it had a desk, large flatscreen tv and a minibar. The storage space was good for a short stay. The rate included breakfast and that was a really diverse buffet. I didn't eat dinner in the hotel but there is a restaurant on site (where you have breakfast). I looked at the menu and there was good choice at reasonable prices. There is a good swimming pool so don't forget your swimmers. Overall it was a great choice and I will definitely return there for business or leisure.

Good location, beautiful view from my room on the 14th floor. Tried to enjoy the spa area... However although it was unlocked and well lit, a staff person told me it wasn't open and had to leave. Disappointing as I had of course paid the fee. Everything else was great!

Great location, close to everything. Connected with a good shopping mall. Had a really pleasant stay. There is the cardboard mill in front of the hotel across the channel.

Very good hotel, excellent and friendly service. The room was clean, very comfortable. Breakfast was very rich with many choices. The reception was helpful in findings restaurants and place to jog in the morning. I would be happy to come back.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room was on the 14th floor and we had great views. Because of the number of rooms and the turnover of guests - room cleaning was very late - usually after 5 pm and sometimes was done very scantily. I would have liked to swim every morning but the pool was only open in the morning at weekends. It was only open at the same times as the sauna which was a shame as it was a lovely pool. The reception staff were very efficient and helpful. Thank you.

Ilves Tampere - Excellent
Clean rooms, good service and well located. Rooms are well maintained and clean with free WiFi, well stocked minibar and decent bathroom. Right in the centre of Tampere - 5 minutes walk from the railway station. Underground parking available.

Friendly hotel near the centre
I had two one-night stays, with different rooms. Both were clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and good walk-in shower. Reception staff were friendly and efficient, breakfast was excellent. I used the restaurants on both evenings, both served excellent food.
