Elegant yet laid back. By climbing up the hill you're rewarded with beautiful vistas in the areas surrounding the guesthouse. Not every room has a nice view, but the overall ambience of the rooms and common area is so relaxed and inviting that I wasn't bothered by this. Jay is quite a character, she made me feel right at home.

Quiet, comfy and beautiful surroundings
My stay at Gerard's Place has not disappointed me thus far. I visit Cameron Highland at least once per year for a number of years now. I always prefer to stay at Gerard's Place because the view from the balcony is absolutely stunning. The host, Jay, is very accommodating and even provided tips for hiking trails.

This is a lovely place to stay in tanah Rata. The house is clean and cool with a beautiful view. Jay is an excellent host and even gave us a lift to the bus station. Highly recommended.

Would not rush out to book this again.
Located in a large apartment block...but sort of in the basement, at least our room was. Room was damp and mouldy. The bed not too comfy and the pillows reeked of mould. The whole room and furniture had a clammy feel. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere. Plus the Cameron Highlands are simply not worth visiting.
