“It was a wonderful stay. The hosts were lovely and I loved sitting on the deck. I had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. Would totally stay here again.”

“We enjoyed the location since it was very central and close to many restaurants. We didn’t realize we had to park our car two blocks away and then check into the hotel. This made it difficult to get our suitcases to the hotel and had to make a couple of trips. We also didn’t realize the cost was $26 daily for the pleasure of parking there and didn’t bother moving our car because it was too much of a hassle. There was construction as well in the area with a number of one way streets that made it……

“This hotel was terrible from the front step to the room. Front steps had sharp stones, Room was dirty, tub was old and finish worn off plus hair all over, very dirty everywhere and towel were washed but but dirty gray. There was a small step then a sloped hallway then a step into the room which was even more dangerous coming out. No cover on the gfi by the bathroom sink, no plugs in tub or sink - but you couldn’t pay me enough to use the tub! I put a towel inside to stand on just to get……

“Great place and location in Mahone Bay. Located on the strip this us a beautifully decorated restored 19th century home. The owners/hosts were great and the room was great. Our room on the ground floor had sink, fridge, BBQ, sitting area outside and a comfortable bed. We will stay here again.”

“Beautiful and well maintained historic building. Lovely staff, delicious and elegant breakfast. Downside was our small, but cozy bedroom on the third floor with no elevator. Bathroom was so small that sink was in the bedroom. Overall we loved the two nights we spent at the Bluenose!”
