My only suggestion is to have more security between the private room and the rest of the house, there was no deadbolt between the door and it would have felt safer as a renter of a private room to have that option. "This is a great location for downtown Allentown, you can walk to a lot of places. We felt safe in the neighborhood and had no problems with moving in or out of the house. The rooms are big, so there is plenty of space. It is an older home, so the steps are squeaky and there are other minor old house details. We love older homes and found it charming in many ways. "We had a friends’ getaway long weekend here and loved it. The property is beautiful and we loved sitting outside by the pool with coffee and listening to the birds sing. The house is roomy and very homey and the beds were soooo comfortable. The location is perfect—-less than a ten minute drive to downtown New Hope with all its shops, restaurants, etc.., but the wooded property is private and quiet and definitely feels like you’re away from it all. "Staying here made it easy to go to my son’s graduation at the PP&L center. The house accommodated my family, was well stocked, clean and had good parking. It had a small but comfortable living room and deck/yard. The only downside is the toilet areas were very small and difficult to use as a plus sized guest."
