The house itself is remote from the crowded areas, and faces the great desert landscape from all the windows. It is spacious enough, has all the necessities in the kitchen and bathroom and equipped with a very nice patio, with a fi tree pit and a gas grill. Communication with the hosts was a pleasure. This was my first time staying in a container and I was not disappointed. The dark starry nights were amazing, and the location of the container brought endless views of the surrounding terrain and mountains in the background. There was plenty of room with the two king size beds, sitting area and a kitchen and bathroom complete with everything you may need. I would highly recommend staying in this container unit. The only thing I wish I would have known is that the bedroom shades are completely see-through and only provide shade from the sun and not for privacy (so change in the bathroom, not the bedroom). ##### Paula M. The beds were cozy and the views were beautiful. The terrain is a little rough getting to the house, but it was so worth it. Everything was perfect. I particularly loved the secluded area combined with modern amenities. We experienced very warm days and nights below freezing and the rental home was able to handle both of those scenarios well. We used the toaster, coffee maker, oven, microwave and propane grill and all worked flawlessly. The bathroom was nicely finished and functional as well. Beds were super comfortable with gorgeous views every evening and morning out of the picture windows. We also used the chiminea for nightly camp fires. Overall, a great experience and perfect accomodations for our week long stay. ##### Andy D. We loved being so close to the park and the town of Terlingua. The property had everything we needed and more, including amazing views from every window, comfortable beds, fast Wi-Fi, a fully stocked kitchen, a cute outdoor seating area for star gazing at night, the list goes on! Daryl and Janet were great hosts, and they made us feel welcome and comfortable as soon as we arrived. Easily one of our best trips ever - we can't wait to come back! ##### Emily C. I felt like the property owners go out of their way to make sure you feel at home. Even reached out via email while we were there which I thought was a very nice touch. The containers are clean and well decorated. Great views of the mountains by day, and breathtaking dark sky views of the Milkyway by night. The owners give you fair warning about the rugged drive up the hill, but it’s well worth all the bumps when you get there. ##### roni b. It was clean and the bed was comfortable, which was needed after long days of hiking and kayaking in Big Bend! It was so quiet out on the back patio with a fire every night. The view of the area and for sunsets and moon rise is spectacular. It is very private and quiet. The location to both the National and state parks is nice. Property was exactly as advertised - modern, clean, and the perfect Terlingua Ghost Town location. No issues and check n-out was a breeze. Sunrises, sunsets and star gazing were amazing - relaxing and inspiring at the same time. I'd note there are 4 of these units at the same location - but they are oriented for maximum privacy. If you do want to make a fire, bring wood and a fire starter. We'll be back. ##### Robert M.
