Everything about the room was fine except there was no luggage rack for my suitcase and the concierge put it on the floor! I have never been in a hotel where there was no luggage rack and certainly not in one that charges several hundred dollars per night.
That said, I loved the private reception areas where you could dine after the bar closed and use the "honesty bar." The mural at the bar is beautifully designed and quite colorful.

"Baseball caps and shorts in the American bar reall"
Baseball caps and shorts in the American bar really!
It's been several years since I went to the Savoy and was very disappointed to find in the Savoy Grill people wearing jeans and open neck shirt's I was even more surprised when having a cocktail in the American bar a group walked in wearing baseball caps and shorts this was very disappointing and not reflecting the quality of the Savoy. Rather ironic I thought was £5000 for a vintage glass of cognac.
The rooms were comfortable and staff excellent although I did have to check my bill and have it corrected as I was overcharged.

Set in the heart of Soho, Hazlitt's allows its visitors to imagine they have stepped back in time and are staying in a private house of the C18/19, with its original shutters, oil paintings on the walls - and the comforts of C21 plumbing, heating and bedding. The conversion has kept the sense of domestic scale, and as many original features as practical, adding repro furniture in a suitable style. Don't expect air-conditioning or completely level floors, but look forward to a warm welcome and luxurious sheets and duvet.

Great hotel, helpful staff, fantastic location. Stayed in the 3 bedroom w/ 2 baths - more than enough space for family of 5. Rooms were clean, modern and serviced each day. Staff was wonderful & helped to arrange everything incl r/t Heathrow Airport travel. In the heart of everything, easy walk to Oxford Circus Tube, to Piccadilly Circus and everything else beyond. Although right in the hustle, bustle of Oxford/Bond Streets, it is a very quiet hotel. Marks & Spencer Market nearby so that you can stock the cabinets & eat in if you choose. Great alternative to the "big hotels" - you feel like you have your own London flat w/ staff.
