The ominous weather was moving on the Norris Geyser Basin's Steamboat Geyser on September 28. As the snow was spitting down around me, there was a miraculous break in the thick clouds and a quick beam of sunlight lit the geyser! The weather was so bad, there was nobody else there to share this experience with.

We have fallen in love with this amazing National Park. We have visited over 20 National Parks and this became our favorite one right away. There is so much to see... Everything is so different. This was actually a "quick" stop on our way from the North Entrance to the Yellowstone Lake.
It’s spectacular to think about the process while building a walking bridge through Yellowstone hot springs, basins and geysers.
