“All I can say about the property is that it was clean. The owner did repair the loose toilet seat, replace the dead smoke alarm battery, and bring more crockery fairly quickly after I complained. But the listing description was woefully inaccurate and certainly didn't mention the patched and mended state of most rooms. This is not a 10* 'excellent' property. Far from it. If it had been accurately listed (and priced accordingly) then that's fair enough, but I was expecting a much higher standard……

“Considering the part of Southend the room was located in, it was a pleasant surprise to walk into a clean smelling room. Hosts were on hand should we need anything. Only downside was it was so warm and after a day or two you could smell the drains despite the cooler being on. Overall a lovely room with everything we needed and very clean and would definitely consider it again”
