“We thought Goldings was a lovely cottage in a lovely location but not without its faults, mainly the lighting which was awful, gloomy and only one light for a double bed, which was ridiculously bright ! “There was a slight mix up at the beginning of our trip - (The owners had not received confirmation of our booking until we arrived so they were not aware of any visitors enroute to them until we phoned when we were 5 minutes away!)
However, the owners were extremely apologetic and very friendly and welcoming, they even gave us a bottle of prosecco for any inconvenience.

“I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The room had a very strong, unpleasant smell and the bedding felt stale and musty. I had to keep the window open all day and night just to make the room bearable, which was far from ideal on a cold and wet February weekend.
