“Tombeck was nice, roomy, comfortable. Had a large kitchen fully stocked with cookware, oven, stove, kettle, microwave. We liked the large wooden dining table. A great place from which to explore Tomintoul and the Cairngorms. Also has a washing machine and dryer, but no instructions so took some time to figure them out (and the washing machine makes a loud noise and really shakes while running).”

“Very relaxing stay! It was nice having two bathrooms, too. Note that they are both upstairs in the cottage. Not a problem for us, though. Place was cozy and comfortable. The pub next door closes early so patrons and any noise coming from there ceases early. Bed was comfy, too. ”

“Amazing house in the woods/farms of Grantown on Spey. We really enjoyed our time at this house. It was our base of operations for a week long stay in the Highlands. Laundry includes a tumble dryer which was a major bonus. Kitchen and bedrooms were all spacious and well organized. Beds were comfy and we enjoyed the sounds of sheep in the neighboring pasture. The sitting rooms fire place was absolutely fantastic after days of hiking in the rain. Best place we stayed in Scotland, bar none.”
