NEVER STAY HERE. I’m not from around Toronto, saw the photos of this place (inside only). Thought it looked pretty decent. Booked the apt last minute. Arrived to location, rundown part of town, very tight access. I drive a pickup truck and it was very tricky to get inside. They allowed me to park in their shared garage. We opened the garage and it wreaked of marijuana. I could barely get my truck in to park. I informed the owner who then stated that I did not tell them I had a truck and that it wasn’t their fault I couldn’t fit. Not to mention the garage door kept closing when I was trying to get the truck in and since we didn’t see any garage sensors we were worried the garage was going to close down and damage the truck. At this point we all wanted to leave, because we we’re starting to feel more and more unsafe. But, I decided to try again and finally was able to get in the garage and just squeeze into a parking spot. We got to the access door, only to find the key pad was not on. I then noticed the door looked taped, I pulled on the handle and saw that someone had taped the locking latch of the door to keep it open. I contacted the owner and they responded saying, someone broke it earlier that day….at this point we were becoming more and more concerned for our safety, we went up the rundown stairs to find the apartment. There were lights on in the apartment and it looked like ppl were inside. That was it for me. Requested a refund, due to unsafe conditions, owner refused.

The neighborhood turned out very good. But apartment itself had heat stuck on 85 F and windows were screwed shut. When we called to get assistance, only the voicemail was available. Maintenance needs to be done before this is rented again. Window replacement and fix heat.

Booked a room at Kensington Place Apartments and got a completely different room than what I selected. Immediately tried to contact the property but they were not answering calls. When they eventually did answer, they made us wait hours to see if they could put us in the room we were expecting but couldn’t accommodate us. Upon cancellation they tried to only give us a partial refund because we were already there (we immediately contacted them). The room had a very strong smell of pine sol and was in a sketchy area. I would recommend not booking!!

Not really a secure apartment for the area! Front door does not lock, door to the apartment does not lock. However bedroom and living room did lock! No TV as we did not have password. Alleyway dark until just before entrance and very uneven to walk holes etc. They knew three of us however two cups that’s all.

It was good and comfortable and hosts were very responsive. However other people were trying to check into our unit so there was confusion as to whom was staying where. Also no bedding for the couch when 3 people were paying to stay was disappointing.

Price point was great, service was excellent but facilities weren’t the best. Customer service always answered my calls and madensure to address my many concerns. There was an ironing board but no iron, no hair dryer. These are important thisngs when one travels. Despite everything, I’d stay there again.

Ignore the people complaining about it being in an alley, it’s literally on a back street. Really cool area, lots of culture, walk out to cool lowkey shops bars etc. Highly recommend, cleaning lady was super nice. Payment process was a little weird but figured it out. Got deposit back pretty quick no hassle. Overall really cool place, definitely coming back!

The place was really hard to find, we had lucky because one person help us to find the address but we spend almost 2 hour for try to find the place and when I try to call the number on expidia doesn’t work. Another thing they charged me 300 for deposit few hours before the check in, and never say something about this extra charge before, was really rude and because I was there and I need a place for stay because in another circumstances I never stay there with this charge that told few hours before that give me the apartment. The only thing I can said that was good is that I had a problem with the door and they fix this for me.

The locks were poor, graffiti all over the place, rooms were listed as all one unti and they are not. If you want the room that has pull out with 2 queens, it is separated by a common hallway that has no lock for entrance. The pullout has no washroom in it and you would have to enter a passcode to go to the bathroom. If staying with children they would not be in the same room with you they would be in a speparte locked room not connected to other bedrooms. The bathroom was small and common areas were dark and gloomy. There was nothing nice about the property. Location is scary and hard to find in an alley. Area is not nice, people around were suspiscous. Smelt bad, and could hear mice in the walls. Should not be represented as it is. We ended up not staying and awaiting a refund, hopefully. DON'T STAY HERE!

The manager had run around at 2am to 3-4 different units cuz he couldn’t figure out the correct codes. The “Manager” give me the code to someone else unit now imagine walking in to someone’s room at 2am. The apartments are so hidden in the back behind the stores. I was very disappointed and honestly embarrassed that I couldn’t have my family over cuz I didn’t want them to see where I was staying.

It was not ideal for a family to stay although it was noce inside. But the other thing was the AC wasnt lushing much air so it was very hot and sweat the entire tome being in there. Top floor. Would stay again just not when its hot out.

The apartment is average. The location is very difficult to find, and in a very unpredictable alley, dirty, it seems a homeless spot. Completely dark. No real access to laundry facilites, you need to guess how to get in. No property instructions. Tha AC never worked. And even calling three times they promise to send maintenance and never showed up. 5 days sweating and being unconfortable. Needed to call three times to get entrance instructions. Horrible experience. Expedia would exclide this place and reimburse the customer for taking them here.

Check in was extremely complicated. I received instructions only after repeated calls. The entrance is hidden in an alleyway, which would be fine, but it's not communicated and isn't well marked. The front door lock was broken (open). There was no electricity in the bedroom outlets, and the hot water did not work (tried different times of day, let it run for 5+ minutes). I ended up leaving before the end of my trip and am seeking a refund. This was by far the most frustrating hotel experience I've ever had. The unit is certainly unconventional (two separate access codes across the hall, bizarre location), but given the price I had already moderated my expectations. The lack of electricity in either bedroom, and absence of hot water, though, is beyond understanding. There were some stains on the towels, but they were definitely laundered and the unit was, on the whole, clean. Even if you're comfortable making some sacrifices for price, I'd strongly caution against staying here.

Pésima experiencia, la propiedad está localizada en una zona muy insegura, especialmente para llegar por la tarde (check in 7pm). Imposible identificar el frente de la propiedad ya que era un edificio muy feo sin ninguna identificación sobre el mismo. Traté de contactar varias veces al teléfono de la propiedad sin éxito. Tuvimo que buscar un hotel de emergencia para alojarnos. En expedia, el chatbot tampoco fue de ayuda. Solicito mi reembolso ya que no se utilizó la propiedad.
