"Lovely house. We were 9 persons aged 15 - 84. We really enjoyed the fantastic wiev from the roof top and the pool and also the pool table. In the house we had everything we needed for cooking and eating and it was very considerate of our hostess who had provided us with water, breakfast-food, drinks and snacks when we arrived in the middle of the night. We all slept well with air condition in every room and good curtains. We rented a mini-bus at Marbesol close to the airport and since the house...

Casa Valderrama was by far the best and met and, in many respects, exceeded all our expectations with the exception of some minor detail in terms of cleaning. "This Villa is a delightful well furnished villa.There were a couple of minor issues we had, but these were resolved quickly and to our 100% satisfaction.The only negative observation we have, although it did NOT affect our visit, is the spiral staircase upto the 3rd bedroom which is rather steep and not suitable for very young or elderly guests. This bedroom lacks an en suite and would necessitate trips up and down the spiral staircase to visit the toilet. I think this might be useful to point...

"Our stay was idyllic. This is a very peaceful space. It is rustic but with all the modern requirements. Check in was easy and the hosts were very responsive with our questions and needs. It is a lovely hike down to a very secluded beach. My partner and I were here for a cycling adventure and our own yoga retreat and this property was perfect. Our only regret is that we didn't book it for the whole two weeks of our stay."

"An initial issue trying to check in but eventually this got sorted. The staff were extremely helpful and made the stay. The kitchen equipment could have been better and there was nothing to wash the items up with. Only staying for two nights didn’t purchase washing up stuff. The shower head was also broken. Saying this I would stay again as these are minor points when compared to the overall experience/stay. "

"Just returned from a weeks hols in October 2025, just my and son and a I. Hotels remote, but beautiful. In fairness it was better than good, very good even, just not quite 5 stars. Not many brits here, good or bad make your own mind up. But I would recommend learning sone spanish. Its definitely alpreciated. Buffet food was good, plenty to choose. And plenty of booze too. Would defo recommend to families, couples and anyone else for that matter. To the staff thank you for working hard. And to the 2 pensioners scrapping in the bingo hall. Naughty boys!! "

"Excellent value hotel located in a central yet peaceful and quiet part in Lanjaron. I stayed in one of the Double twin bed Rooms, with excellent views of the castle and mountains in the distance, the photos online really are representative. The bedroom, bathroom and balcony were all very spacious. Spotlessly clean, the bed was made and toileteries were replenished on a daily basis. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and attentive, inspite of my poor grasp of the Spanish language! Would say the only thing lacking was a small Refrigerator, however this is only a minor thing and I managed without it during my stay, particularly with the Pica Pica 24hrs vending machines on the main street in town."
