"A lovely hotel designed to blend seamlessly with the natural environment."

"Staff was well trained, attentive and helpful in all areas. The property was well maintained. The villas were beautiful inside and out. The pool by the central or main building was not useful given close proximity to restaurant. The second pool was better placed. Overall, the location, staff, and property was as advertised. I highly recommend this hotel."

"It’s a very unusual location for a hotel which is quite distant on a hill with shuttle service provided to local venues and restaurants. It’s not an ideal hotel for elderly or guests with mobility issues as the rooms are high and with long flight of stairs. There two swimming pools the largest quite far to get to and with no staff. The rooms are traditional Javanese Joglos which can be quite charming for photos but very dark inside as one cannot open the windows owing the heat from outside , so...

"Fantastic resort. Excellent value. Lovely villas. Great pool. Most service oriented staff I have encountered in a lifetime of traveling."

"La base perfecta en Borobudur. Tranquilo, bonito, con buena comida y bebida... y ademas con un anfitrión lleno de historias interesantes! Nos encantó el tour en bicicleta! Cuidado que las cosas han cambiado para acceder al templo y hay que sacar las entradas online con antelación!"

"The Artotel has a beautiful architecture. Rooms are sufficiënt with good big beds. Nice fews from the room on the higher floors. There is no alcohol served at this hotel."

"Best location in the area, 20' away from the Setumbu Punthuk point of view (sunrise). Amazing view over the hills and a very nice infinity pool and terace. The only negative point was the work in progress but it's for the best : more tourists will bé able to enjoy of this beautiful hotel in the future."

"A modest place conveniently located. "

"Fantastic location, beautiful property and room, and incredible staff. Perfect location for exploring both the temple and the city! Highly reccomend!!"

"Everything is good very clean .good service.nice view also delicious food"

"Local people are very warm n helpful. The hotel did not provide my package with breakfast but no worries, many local foods nearby along the road which is tasty n cheep.Since I can communicate in Bahasa indo we managed to travel most of the trip on local bus n tricycle which is a big saving. But please remember to book or arrange any of transport if u intend to hang up after 5 pm. at any location. Street close by had many verities of food n item to purchase even in the night. Walking along the...

"I liked everything very much about the hotel. The staff, the rooms, the food, and generally the impression. "

"Absolutely loved this place! So beautiful and not far from the temple. Would suggest a tuktuk rather than walking though as even in the morning it's pretty hot. Aside from the need for air con, cannot fault this place at all. One of our favourite hotels so far on our trip!"

"Nice and peaceful place with wild river restaurant, delicious breakfast and herbal tea is my favorite, helpful and friendly host and staff.Good location, just 2 minutes walk outside with a town got some mart and warung ,a bakery to buy kek lapis, if you want to stay at borobudur, this is a good place."

"Top of the line 5* resort with terrific grounds and all amenities. Loved the lounge, restaurant and pool. Did not have enough time to explore the surroundings, which look nice."

"Nice bungalow in Borobudur town with each bungalow with a terras and a balcony with chairs and a few on smalle river and the swimming pole. Very friendly staf."

"Beautifully located at the foot of Mount Sumbing and Mount Sindoro, with cool mountain air and lots of outdoor activities. Truly recommended."
