The staff were polite. However, my door didn’t lock properly, 2/3 locks worked but the deadbolt did not. I was solo traveling for the first time and I let the front desk know this and told them I didn’t feel safe. They said they would have someone check on it. Maintenance went to my room while I was out and apparently had said it was fixed. It was not, they told me they would send someone else up within 15 minutes, no one came until I called after 45 minutes. The lady told me that the lock was not meant to fully lock which didn’t make sense to me. She reassured me that it was a safe hotel and that I would be okay. I asked to switch rooms and they told me that no other rooms were available due to them being cleaned. I asked if rooms would be available the next day and was told no. I ended up checking out of the hotel the next morning and requested a refund. They refunded me a little over half of my total cost even though I only stayed 1 out of 3 nights. I will emphasize that the staff was friendly and patient but they were not able to fix any of my concerns. I take safety very seriously and accommodating to guest safety should be top priority. I also found some makeup stains on my pillow but it didn’t bother me as much as the lock.
