For one of the more expensive mid-range hotels in the area I wasnt really impressed. The room was ok, but not really decorated, and felt more like a dorm room. The king bed had four pillows, that were NOT king pillows. They were small, square, flat throw pillows in regular pillowcases. When I asked about the pillows I was told immediately that those are the only pillows they have and there are no spares. The immediate answer made it sound like they get that question a lot. I would recommend bringing your own pillows if you plan to stay here. The breakfast was good, but the coffee was always empty and we had to ask them to bring out a new one all three mornings. Overall, it was fine I guess. No major discrepancies. But certainly overpriced.

Loved the room, really large and comfortable. Didn't miss having a front desk, never had a need for them.

Excellent place to stay in Charlottesville. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. The included breakfast at Farm Bell Kitchen was outstanding!
