Nice room & pool in Tulum
Easy parking, friendly and cooperative front desk staff, modern rooms, a nice rooftop dipping pool, and a complementary bottle of wine to start our vacation.

Overbooked and sent to another hotel
After booking this property more than 10 months in advance of our Stay, I was only informed less than 24 hours of our arrival (after me following up) that our rental had been overbooked. Thankful that another similar hotel/accommodation was found for us. Not quite in the location we had wanted and this other rental had issues such as a malfunctioning cook top and A/c amongst other issues. I would be very careful to rent a VRBO that is located in a hotel setting next time.

Poor management and no power multiple times
The units themselves are decent. However, we had multiple power outages due to their generator going down. They did not have a backup generator, so we went 12+ hours with no running water, no AC, no toilets etc. I understand some things are out of our control, however, it happened a second time and there seemed to be no contingency plan in place. There was no attempt to apologise, give any type of refund or even a complimentary bottle of wine. In fact, the property manager has ghosted me with regard to this. Additionally, the restaurant food was all prepared in a blender the night we went for dinner. I wish I knew these things before going, as I would not have booked it

Beautiful spot in a rapidly growing neighborhood
The apartment was amazing. Super pretty, great rooftop, food at restaurant was awesome. There is significant construction going on in the neighborhood, so keep that in mind. It didn't bother us though.
