Our room was clean and comfortable and had been recently updated. The only downfall was the noise from the suite above. We had respectful neighbours, so it wasn't too bad, but definitely not sound proof. We'd definitely stay again.

Rooms clean and recently renovated. Within walking distance of the wharf and shops. Very friendly staff; communicated through text when they needed to reach us. Would definitely stay here again.

good check in. really nice for a motel and staff are friendly. wish they had slippers though and the tub drained a bit slower, but not a huge deal. would come back

We had a new room, it was clean and spacious. They provided some nice smelling toiletries. Nothing overwhelmingly great about the overall experience but a suitable room and location. There were lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Was recently renovated so the room was very nice, modern, thoughtfully laid out, bright and pleasant. The location is very convienent with food and gift store options close by, within walking distance. Definitely would stay again.

Seems like the rooms are quite new, but... - There is no door handle (room 102) - The fridge was scarcely cold - The fridge isn't well mounted and wobbly - Having a cabinet door to open before you open the fridge makes no sense; it's just in the way - It takes forever to heat the place up - it would make sense to turn the heat on a bit before guests arrive Helpful and kind receptionist, nice room and bed overall.

This property is currently undergoing a complete renovation. They put us in one of the recently renovated rooms and it was very nicely done. Fresh paint, new floors and all new furniture. Looking forward to seeing it all done soon. Love that it's pet friendly and walking distance to multiple restaurants and grocery store. Highly recommend a stay here if you don't want o spend $300 a night

My husband, twin toddler daughters, dog and I spent a night at this motel for the first time. We were up from Nanaimo just for the night and usually just look for somewhere cheap to stay. The price was very good, and we were told we were in a newly renovated room. We loved it!!! Clean and nice and had everything we needed. Area was great and the staff member I dealt with was very nice. Will stay here again!
