Ujiurata Vacations from $2,241

We stayed for 3 nights at Base Layer Nishiki. There was no room service, understood as a cost saving measure. We put out garbage daily outside our room, but we had to ask for toilet paper and garbage bags. The staff dropped of a bag of towels everyday and we ended up having numerous towels in a tiny room. We have traveled in a dozen hotels in Japan with computer/tablet check in and minimal staff. The front desk staff at Base Layer are the most useless. Location is convenient.

Laundry is not available inside hotel, but rather a 5-7min walk

Very clean, very kind, very nice swimming pool. good food

The hotel is smaller, more fancy. 10 min walk to Nagoya station. There’s a scent they use in the hallway, I think it’s eucalyptus? Not a fan. We appreciated the beds being made daily and the fresh towels, but it was not necessary. A little wasteful to change out the towels every day. The breakfast buffet was a set menu with 4 choices, it was good, simple. They do not have laundry on site. The staff was pleasant and friendly. The neighborhood was quiet.

New building ,clean, public bath is good
