“What an absolute gem. Situated in a quiet quaint village Wayside is the perfect getaway. My room was clean and spacious with views out onto beautiful countryside. Lovely courtyard at the entrance with seating area. Continental breakfast wanted for nothing with fresh refrigerated milk, yoghurts, orange juice, cheese grapes etc. Lovely fresh bread, toaster, kettle and all you need to use. Shower room compact and spotless. I would definitely recommend”

“This is an amazing place to stop , very clean , warm and everything you need to have a good stay , it was -3 when i stopped but was warm n snug , tesco and lidl at the end of the road. I will definitely be stopping again when im up this way ”

“Fantastic little cottage in a gorgeous location. It had everything we needed and was lovely and cosy. The pub across the road is great - the kids had a brilliant time playing in the garden while we enjoyed a drink in the afternoon sun! Would definitely stay again ”

“The lodge was clean, well equipped we cooked every night. WiFi was strong we managed to watch things through our Amazon stick. Staff were helpful, and on hand If we needed anything. The only slight issue was the hot tub, it took a long time to get to temperature and needed monitoring so when we went out we couldn’t then go in the hot tub for a few hours when we got back. It probably didn’t help it was so cold at the time of year we visited.”

“This is an absolutely charming glamping option, with the railway carriage beautifully converted to very cosy accommodation for one or two. In summer, it's lovely to spend the evening in the small but very comfortable seating area. While the carriage is in the garden of a large house, sensitively applied fencing and planting means that it feels very private to the glampers. All the essentials are in the kitchenette, the shower is great, the bed is very comfortable - everything has been thought……
