"A lovely hotel. The room was excellent and the on-site restaurant (not owned by the hotel) was equally excellent. I would have given it 5 stars but for the fact it was difficult to find anywhere to hand up our clothes after a very wet journey, there wasn't a grab handle in the shower (which I need) and as the hotel is encased in a large church and there was no external branding, we couldn't find it though it was right under our noses!"

Es fahren tagsüber viele Boote vorbei und es wird nie langweilig. Giethoorn selbst als Venedig des Nordens bezeichnet, verdient diesen Namen. Die Abwicklung der Reise war unproblematisch und ok."

The breakfast was excellent and you can use the fantastic swimming pool as you wish. For the cyclists, take your bikes with you and there is a locked dry bike shed. The cycling paths are excellent, very safe and endless. They have a huge parking area and it's free"
