“Foi uma experiência diferente. Sabíamos que Antakya havia sido atingida pelo terremoto de fevereiro de 2023\. No entanto, não tínhamos dimensão do impacto do terremoto na cidade. Eu nunca havia visto uma cidade impactada por um abalo sísmico. Fiquei abalada em ver a destruição e imaginar o que isso representa para as pessoas que vivem lá e precisam, todos os dias, encarar o cenário de caos total. Fiquei profundamente marcada pela resiliência das pessoas da cidade.”
