Great stay at a wonderful property. Very happy with the location close to the pedestrian bridge, though the altitude did make it a bit more challenging on the walk home! The unit was clean and comfortable, with everything you might need for the stay. It was nice that the owners don't clear everything out- there was cooking oil, and basic spices as well as sugar and coffee. It was great in the afternoons to sit in the pool and hot tub and watch the late skiers come off the mountain. Really nice check-out process- they only asked that we take out the trash and run the dishwasher to give their cleaners a head-start. A very reasonable request. All in all, a great place and a great stay- would highly recommend and will plan to return to the same place.

Father-Son Annual Ski Trip
Stayed at this SunVail condo for five nights in late February. The trip was our annual father-son ski trip. The condo more than met our needs and description accurate. The only challenge was the 11-12 min walk to Lions Head gondola using the pedestrian overpass. For those of us that are fiscally fit, it was not a problem, but could be for someone not used to heightened physical exercise. For properties in Vail it is a good value.

Great Family Stay in Vail
Best parts of this condo development. Its pretty quiet and relaxed complex. Pool and Hot Tub and Sauna are very nice. I would recommend they offer towels at the pool area. We walked into Lionshead a couple of times from the complex. Once for dinner and once for breakfast. It is a short walk - at most 10 minutes to anywhere in Lionshead. For skiing, we decided to drive over and park in Vail Village or Lionshead. For the 5 of us it was worth the price of parking to not have the kids and us walkin ski books and have to carry skiis and poles. If you get to the lots early there is no problem getting parking. I did see people walking it in boots and carrying equipment, but this was my vacation after all. If I lived there, I'd walk it. The unit was well supplied with kitchen equipment and alot of basic necessities - spices, etc. Beds were comfortable - King Bed was very comfortable. TV's worked well and had cable for live shows. Heat worked great. Bathrooms were clean well stocked.

Great place!
This was a great place to stay and was a little less expensive than staying on the town side of Lionshead. The walk over the pedestrian bridge was short and easy. We left our boots in storage at the rental place so we didn't have to drag them back and forth. The condo was VERY clean. The only thing I can think of that it lacked was larger pool towels for the hot tub. Great stay overall!

The property is in a wonderful complex with a convenient location just across the bridge to Lionshead. We had stayed in the complex before, but first time in this unit. Pros: first floor, comfortable beds, clean, easy check in/out, pool is amazing, easy parking. Cons: in the summer with no AC, ceiling fans would be a very nice addition. While it cooled down at night it got pretty hot in the day. I couldn't figure out how to plug either bathtub for my kids to take a bath so this should be fixed. Overall it is a very nice place and we had a wonderful stay but definitely due for some updates, and smart tv's would be a great addition as well.

Well appointed condo, missing screens 🙄
We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 week summer stay. This condo is nicely furnished with good sized rooms and quality furnishings. Kitchen has everything you’d need and paper supplies are included. Very clean with plenty of linens and full sized W/D. The location is about a half mile walk over the highways via the pedestrian bridge to Lionshead village. Just be aware if uphill and steps are an issue for you. Others mentioned road noise and we found it to be very significant when on the patio. We basically didn’t use the patio for that reason. Missing screens - there is no AC which is generally not an issue in the mountains- just open the windows. Except most screens were missing in this unit making for a couple uncomfortable nights. Although this was reported on day one, there was no attempt by SkyRun to follow up or resolve. Seems an easy fix.

Great place - fairly healthy hike to the village with skis and boots
We stayed here for two days and everything was great. Wonderful communication process and everything was as expected. I will say that we chose to drive to base and pay for parking because the walk is doable but somewhat strenuous after a day of skiing. There are also busses that could be used. We had a great time.

Very good stay in Vail
Nice apartment, clean and very convenient to the village and the ski chair/gondola by walking 7 min across the overpass. You can hear the highway from the apartment but we were away all day and in the winter windows are always closed. Athena of Skyrunvail was awesome: I got email and text message with all information for checkin/checkout, sauna, parking etc. and reminders.

Great place for Vail trip

The condo was a nice size and very clean and was in very good condition. Check-in and check-out and parking was extremely easy. The condo is about a 7 minute walk to the ice rink at Lionshead Village and 17 min walk to Vail Village. It's a very fair price for what you get for something w/in walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Excellent location
Property was clean and well kept up. It was spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed. Short walk to the pedestrian bridge. We checked our skis in every night and walked over in our ski boots in the morning without a problem. Definitely would consider ski in/out which was great because parking at vail isn’t great. Made our trip much easier. Bathrooms were a bit dated, but very clean so wasn’t an issue. Would stay there again.

Short walk to Lionshead
Overall we had a very enjoyable stay at this condo. It is spacious with a great view of Vail Mountain across I-70. A short walk to Lionshead via the pedestrian bridge or a short bus ride. We had no hot water one evening after skiing. I called the after-hours hotline and they had a plumber onsite within about 2 hours and quickly resolved the issue.

Just Right!!
This location was perfect for our first visit to Vail.. within walking distance of both Lions Head and Vail Villages. The grocery store and ice rink and bus line were a stones’ throw away. So convenient! The condo is decorated very tastefully and we had everything we needed (ie coffee pot, utensils, nice linens and comfy beds). Will definitely plan to visit again!

Great location for summer trip in Vail
The location is easy walking distance to Lionshead Village to access shops, restaurants, and even gondolas. The condo had a really nice stream running next to it that made sleeping really peaceful and surprisingly could not hear any other units. The unit came with almost everything we needed.

We were a little disappointed with the music and tv offerings. We couldn’t get the tvs to work and there was a cute CD player so adding a few cds and dvds would have been a nice touch. The view was great and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub immensely. For our family of five it was a little tight. My oldest son slept on the couch bed and the other two kids used the twins. Everybody was comfortable enough but it’s not too spacious. There was a large stain in the hallway when we arrived

Great location for family trip
The location is great for skiing and visiting shops at Vail. Very clean property and easy to communicate with management company. We recommend staying here and hope to visit in the summer.

The Condo looks great in the photos. However, it is very worn and needs an update. The King bed mattress is exceptionally bad as it sags in the middle. Won't stay there again, unless it goes through a major overall.

Great views from hot tub/pool
Older condo building but close to everything . It has 2 hot tubs with great views of the Vail skiing mountain. Highway I-70 noise can be heard outdoors but not in the unit.

Great condo, excellent location - perfect getaway for family
So nice on a long road trip to stay at such a nice condo that felt like home. Easy to get to from interstate and short distance to downtown Vail. Only complaint is that the listing said air conditioning which was a must considering the temps in July, but there wasn’t any A/C on the property. Temps were low enough at night that it wasn’t a problem, but chose this unit because it listed A/C which is hard to find in the Vail area. Booking, check in and check out couldn’t have been easier! Loved the full kitchen and newer furniture.

Wonderful place and location

Very Nice place to stay
we stayed in Vail at the Sun Vail location. Super close to the footbridge into lionhead, walking to Supermarket, if a bit far, local park right next door with slide and kids fun things. Quiet except for the guest directly above us- think crowd of Kids running in ski boots- but it was spring break. The manager Athena couldn't have been more accommodating and nice. I was covid so we didn't allow anyone into our unit. She left neatly outside whatever we needed and even personally got us some Foam Toppers for the bed which needed extra padding on the open up sofa. We had a small and very public outdoor area for eating and drinking. the pool and hot tub were clean and nice enough. its not a luxury spot or a luxury site but very easy to live in and clean for a family.
