Weather was terrible, so it felt even better to get home in the nice and warm apartment after our bike rides and to have good place for our bikes in the garage. "Pros: A beautiful small apartment with a great view over Bormio and surrounding mountains. The apartment was very new, modern and with all necessary equipment (kitchen tools, washing machine,…) one can think of. We were offered a big inside parking spot where we could also safely store our bikes. Generally speaking, the host family is probably the nicest family in Bormio offering all kinds of help and making you feel home. Cons: For us the bed and also pillows were too hard."

"The communication was good. The apartment was filled with top-quality workmanship. The security was excellent. The entrance way was beautiful, the woodwork and tile throughout was impressive. Strong water pressure and plenty of hot water. The washer/dryer combo is better for small loads and does take a lot of time, though it is convenient to have it in the bathroom closet.
