Nicely renovated room with balcony. Despite being on second floor, great view. Well-appointed outside seating. Within easy walking distance of train station and beach. Good buffet breakfast. Friendly staff who made every effort to help me as my Italian is basic. The location can be noisy as trains can be heard and sounds can carry from the hallway - but the latter happens with most hotels.

I love this hotel and Vernazza. It is a great place to use as a base when doing business in Genova or Savona

Was a good choice.
Self parking, but cars get 3 and 4 deep stacked. Leave keys with front desk so that they can move cars when someone leaves. Elevator, hallways, and rooms a bit on the smallish side. Very friendly staff, helpful, patient. Great breakfast choices, but avoid the last hour rush. Can become a bit crowded around the buffet tables. 5 min walk to beaches and other restaurants in the town center.

Ok for a stop-over.
It was ok for a one-nighter on the way to somewhere else. Took some finding though and, if you have a car that is valuable to you, be aware that the parking is chaotic and you have to leave your car keys at reception so that management can move your car if necessary.

Nice Hotel for a good value price with ok service.
Very pretty hotel from the outside but room a little basic. service ok but air conditioning broken and they didn't seem that fussed about fixing it because it was a bit cooler outside. overall not bad value though for 50 euros.

ten year return to Varazze
This hotel was excellent value for the money we only stayed one night but was made vey welcome close to the town centre which is very interesting breakfast was the norm but adequate. all in all would stay again

Hotel is well located regarding train station and sea front/town. Services and facilities are pretty basic but ok. Only compliant really is that despite very warm nights, air conditioning is not switched on until "June"

Delightful 3* hotel with stylish, moderne Italian decor, 6-7 mins from both station and seafront. Charming, friendly staff. Very welcoming to families. Very reasonable room rates including a good breakfast with fresh espresso. An excellent dinner with homemade ice cream may also be had for an additional Eur 18.

VERY Friendly Staff
I smile when I think of the Hotel staff... very friendly and obliging and willing to converse in English (with some Italian thrown in where required). We booked an inexpensive room on the back portion of the Hotel for the night because we were just traveling through and only planned to sleep. We decided to upgrade to a sea view room in the front, and were NOT disappointed. The Hotel, though not lavish, is tastefully decorated, and has an elevator. The room with en suite bath was clean, comfortable, and quiet. A walk-out balcony (chairs and table) afforded a nice view over the rooftops to the water and the surrounding bits of town. Although there was some free street parking (if you were quick to grab it), the Hotel offered garage parking for a fee. The breakfast consisted of sliced cheese and meats, yogurts, cereals, fruit, juices, coffee, tea, milk, and a variety of pastries and bread; the support staff was happy to prepare good Cappuccino, for those so inclined. The Hotel has a restaurant that opens for dinner around 19:30 and operates until, perhaps, 21:00, offering a limited number, but tasty, daily selections.

The Ariston was an excelent choice.

Varazze en genuin gammaldags badort.
Hotellet är trevligt och har små men fina rum, läget är bra och inte långt från stranden. Nackdelen är väldigt hård säng och en personal i receptionen som behöver en liten charmkurs. Sedan går järnvägen i en tunnel precis bakom hotellet vilket kan uppleveas störande första dagen/natten.

Klimaanlage war zunächst nicht in Betrieb, Zimmerwechsel war nicht möglich. Zimmer deutlich kleiner als auf den Bildern. Frühstück wurde z.T. nicht nachgefüllt.

La chambre n’était pas du tout à la hauteur de ce qui était écrit dans le descriptif : Nous n’avons pas réussi à fermer les volets, l’ouverture de la porte fenêtre était impossible à cause du parquet gondolé.... Bref un état de décrépitude inadmissible par rapport à ce qui était annoncé. Extrêmement déçue !!!!!

Albergo lussuoso purtroppo non tutto all'altezza delle aspettative. Nel bagno alcuni problemi (mensola portaoggetti appena sopra lavabo che non permette di avvicinarsi al rubinetto per sciacquare il viso,vasca piccola con sali e scendi della doccia rotto ). Le salviette e i prodotti da bagno il secondo giorno sono stati cambiati / rimessi solo in parte. Per tutta la durata del soggiorno ci sono state delle macchie di sporco sopra la porta d'entrata della camera.servizio ottimo come la prima colazione.vista mare

Bel hôtel qui vaut largement un 4 étoiles
Cet vaut largement un 4 étoiles. Le personnel est accueillant et très professionnel. L hôtel est très bien situé près du centre ville et près de la mer. La chambre que nous avions était très confortable moderne et très propre.Le petit déjeuner était complet avec des produits frais de bonne qualité.
