"The property manager was very helpful and understanding during an unexpected snowstorm. They were considerate and allow us extra time at no additional charge to wait on better weather conditions more favorable for travel. Fortunately we were able to get out of the driveway and on the road in early afternoon."

"Valerie was absolutely delightful. We have stayed in our fair share of homes and hands down this was the best stocked kitchen we have ever seen. It made cooking for our family that we don’t see often a pleasure. The location was fantastic and Food Lion was just a few minutes away. We walked the neighborhood one morning and the few neighbors we saw were incredibly friendly. The home was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Stay here, you won’t be sorry that you did. "We enjoyed our stay at Icing on the Lake during Thanksgiving! There was lots of space for everyone in our group of 19. The house was well stocked for cooking, as well as, playing games, watching movies in the theater room, and simply spending quality time together. Everything was beautifully decorated and the host was gracious and welcoming. I would highly recommend this property for large family gatherings! "

"3 generations came together to celebrate Thanksgiving here, and we had a wonderful time! We cooked a turkey on the gas grill; the house was very well stocked for cooking and serving a big meal for 15. We brought a folding table for an extra 6 seats in the kitchen/dining room, which was a perfect fit (turns out the house has a folding table and 6 nice folding chairs!).We enjoyed the fire pit and appreciated it was well stocked with wood. The hot tub took until the second night to heat up, but that wasn’t a huge deal (just a little disappointing). FYI for those figuring out sleeping arrangements—the bed in second bedroom downstairs is only big enough for one adult, unless you REALLY like to snuggle. Haha. We had a great time and would stay here again!"

"This beautiful home was the perfect house for our family gathering including children and seniors! Plenty of space for meals, well equipped kitchen and my grandchildren loved the game room! With a late autumn stay, we did not fully utilize the outdoor waterfront amenities. Homeowner was very responsive, flexible and quick to answer any questions! I could not imagine a better time! Thanks for the memories!"
