Fantastic Location
South Beach was the yearly vacation destination for my family when I was growing up. It was very good for our souls to be able to revisit it as adults. House is perfectly situated for easy beach access. It has all the things you need for a comfortable stay.

Great little old Florida cottage feel!
House had a great old Florida cottage feel. It wasn’t super fancy, but clean and quaint with everything we needed. Super close to the beach which made for a beautiful morning stroll. Didn’t love some of the unique mystical decor but the mattress in the main and one of the guest rooms had just been updated to large king beds which were comfortable. The master bedroom is like a retreat set apart from the other rooms. We were there in December but I imagine a summer stay would be especially amazing because they have everything needed for outdoor beach fun in the garage.

Delightful stay!
This property was perfect for our group! We were three adult couples visiting the area for a wedding and this was perfectly located and perfectly stocked! We made great use of the beach and were so happy the rental had chairs and umbrellas. Everything was very clean and cute and the owner was extremely responsive to the questions we had. Thank you, would love to rent this spot again!

Fun at the Beach
The property was a moments walk to the beach. It was smaller than expected, tiny kitchen and living room but clean and cozy. We were a family of 6 and made it work. The owner showed up as soon as I mentioned the dishwasher wasn’t working well. He truly cared that we were satisfied. The house is sturdy, old Florida with cool terrazzo floors.

Great Beach Vacation!
Our family enjoyed our stay at the Aqua Cottage. The house is very comfortable, stocked with everything you need. The house is just steps to the beach and the grandkids loved all the beach toys, we loved the chairs and umbrellas. We would rent it again!

Great Location Great Hosts
We loved the aqua house. It’s less than a minute walk to the beach and there are four very good restaurants within walking distance. The hosts are very responsive and if there is a problem, it is fixed as quickly as possible. The house is stocked with all the beach paraphernalia you could want-towels, umbrellas, games, boogy boards, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have booked for next year!

Super location Vero. This place is adorable and clean. It’s very well equipped and adorably decorated. The place is older, so it has the expected esthetic. We did have some issues during our stay, but they were quickly resolved by the property manager.

Charming rental
We're a senior couple who look for uncrowded, quiet areas to relax and enjoy reading, painting, walking etc...and we found it at this house. It's a touch of old Florida but very well updated and beautifully decorated, bright and cheerful. Just about anything you could want is there, several bikes, surf boards, huge washer and dryer, comfortable furniture, a good- sized unfenced yard for our little poodle to wander in, a beautiful beach right across the street through South Beach Park, and the location was ideal for us--primarily a quiet residential area with not much traffic. The back porch is shaded and a good place to sit outdoors in the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed it and found the agent/host easy to work with and welcoming. I feel I have to mention to other dog owners that this beach (which we had never visited before) has some of the toughest dog restrictions we've run across in years of travel all over the country with our sweet little dog (who's blind and never done one bit of damage to anything or anyone) but we just adjusted to it, and it didn't diminish our enjoyment of the house at all. It's lovely and I highly recommend it for all ages. Something for everyone.

Great Beach Access!
Stayed with family for a weekend before heading to Orlando for a volleyball tournament. Was clean, spacious, stocked kitchen….and literally steps to the beach. Short drive to town for restaurants, bars and shopping. And recommend South Beach Pizzeria that’s literally walking distance right around the corner. Took a drive south and got to see manatees, too! Great place. Adults and teens all fully enjoyed!

Best Location for the beach
We come back every year to this perfect little beach house. It's got everything we need, bikes, room and laundry and the location to the beach can't be beat. We don't use the kitchen much because we eat out most of the time. But we love this Aqua Cottage.

We enjoyed our vacation and the location of this property was key to our enjoyment! The beach across the street was beautiful and clean. Sun rise on the beach was amazing Close to restaurants! Jonny D’s never disappoints, Pizza place next block over. The house was perfect for our family. Boat rental nearby is convenient. We would rent again.

Wonderful stay
I would definitely stay here again but would love to see a few updates. The master bed was quite uncomfortable and the fridge’s temperature was off - not cold enough/light was out. With those updates it would be a 5/5 stars. Super convenient to the beach and close enough to town. It makes a great bike ride!

Fabulous location
We loved the aqua cottage. I was cozy and had enough room for 5 of us. The location right across from the beach was perfect. We were only 5 minutes away from everything we wanted to go to; our nephew's wedding, the beach, in town shopping, the botanical gardens and grocery shopping. There were a few glitches when we arrived - the air conditioner wasn't working, but a repair person came and fixed it promptly. Also, it was close to the road to the beach, but even so, it was very quiet. I would stay there again.

Nice house for families. Spacious master bedroom and bathroom. House provided small crib for our grandson, bicycles, beach chairs, beach towels, etc. The location is amazing … so close to the beach. Will definitely stay again.

what more could you want??
We were only at Aqua Cottage for 4 nights and really wish it could have been longer. It truly feels like a home away from home, and such a short walk to the beach!!! South Beach Pizza is literally around the corner and soooo good! Loved having the bikes(there are 4). There are tons of beach towels and everything you would need for a day at the beach!! Be sure and check out Waldos at the Driftwood resort. It is a 25 min walk by beach and is a fun outdoor bar/restaurant that often has live music right on the beach. We would definitely rent Aqua Cottage again and recommend to others!

Tired house in perfect location
We thoroughly enjoyed the location near the beach and near lovely, quiet neighborhood streets great for walking and biking. The house was roomy with adequate furnishings, nice bed linens and luxurious bath towels. The upstairs bedroom suite had its own newer HVAC unit which was very efficient for that area. Beach toys, towels, chairs, etc. were abundant. In the garage were 2 bikes, an adult trike with worn out tires and a new washer with older, efficient dryer. There were wooden shelves covered with dirt and grit. The sheltered patio was a nice feature. The biggest disappointment in the house was the outdated kitchen. The shelves in the old painted cabinets were in disarray with flaking paint inside some of the dishes. The shelves and drawers were very dirty. The kick boards were missing so under the cabinets was a disturbing sight. The old dishwasher’s bottom rack was perhaps not the original or it had lost some wheels because it was difficult to roll in and out of the washer. One door shelf of the refrigerator was not useable. The oven was new and very nice as was the granite countertop.

easy beach access
This property was perfect for us. Whoever woke up and wanted to take our coffee to the water's edge just had to grab a chair or towel, cross the street, go over the foot bridge and down to the water. No waiting for the other people and no notes needed. We all knew where to find each other. There's not much in the way of other activities but there are many good restaurants with easy access and on the beach. My favorite was the Driftwood Resort since our family vacationed there many times many years ago.

Great for a beach getaway

Awesome Location!
I’ve stayed here twice now and keep coming back for the location. The house itself is pretty run down for the price but it’s got a great location and you can’t beat being able to walk across the street to go home from the beach. Great washer and dryer! Kitchen is functional—master bedroom needs a new mattress but overall a great place to enjoy the beach!

Aqua cottage is a clean, functional house. It is ideal for two couples . The outside terrace is very nice and private with a brand new gas grill. The property is not fancy but more than adequate. We’ll be back!!

Beach lovers delight
Location, location, location, from the front door just cross the street and are 1 or 2 minutes from sand in your toes.. The property was clean and well equipped with beach chairs and cart. It is a cozy home that makes you feel welcome with a great family room to cool off during the 2pm Florida sun. There is a bonus terrace in the back where you can rinse off or have a outdoor dinner weather allowing. Make sure you try the pizza just three houses over. Great communication with the property management. One of the bathroom tubs has a super slow drain but we were so happy it was easily overlooked I’m sure they took care of it.. Definitely a place to go back to very highly recommended.
