"Clean, spacious apartment on the countryside. With farm animals like goats and horses just outside that the kids loved! We were able to use the kitchen before check in which was really generous of the host. The kitchen setup is a little bit unorthodox but everything works and is in nice condition. The beds were nice, one family member thought it was a little bit on the hard side. The apartment is really quiet even as the country road is rather close. We had a really nice stay and would rent it...

"We absolutely enjoyed our stay in that house. It is cozy, equipped with everything you need and has a fantastic view. It is the perfect house also when it is raining and windy, what can happen often in Denmark. Using the fireplace and playing board games makes also these days enjoyable. We were also observing the nature of Fanø like pheasants or kestrels from the terasse and the kitchen. The Spar is 5mins by bike and the beach is also reachable easily by bike. "Nice "upgraded" Cabinn in heart of Esbjerg. Booked a studio which had queen size bed and tea kitchen. Lots of space in the living/sleeping area itself but the bathroom was dreadfully small. Tiny shower area with water spraying everywhere and curtain stuck to your body. However, great shower pressure. I would probably not stay here again simply due to the size of the bathroom but otherwise, lovely place to stay with cozy and nice lobby and super friendly staff."

"The check-in receptionist was rude. It was a surprise that breakfast was not included, this was not clear in the advertisements and no options for with/without breakfast available. "Prided for being the oldest hotel in Denmark, you can feel its history the moment you step into the lobby, with its charming period furnishings. If you want a true taste of history, this is the place to stay. The rooms are adequate and warm, though ours had a rather slanted floor. The location is excellent.. right next to the cathedral and at the start of Ribe’s old street, two of the town’s main attractions. A small hiccup during check-in: there was no one at reception, and calls to the provided number went unanswered, which meant we couldn’t access the private parking. Breakfast, however, was fantastic, with a nice variety of options."
