"Great hotel, staff was amazing they went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Food was so delicious and so many varieties. Zachariah the assistant front desk manager provided a great customer service, the chef on the grill station, the housekeeping manager,Adam in the restaurant and the beach team were so friendly and helpful. "Really enjoyed my 8 night stay at Solymar and works definitely stay again. The reception staff are superb. Sherif avd Ahmed gonout of their way to ensure guests are happy and looked after. They organised me a fantasy excursion at short notice, which was not only well organised but superb value. It is obvious the staff really take pride in their work. "They refused to acknowledge my booking via hotels.com for $25 per night. I had no choice but I pay €28 to them for the night instead. That guy even told me that I had to stay for 2 nights. I said “No way”. There was no towels or shampoo. The place smells like sewage at times due to the heat and humidity. Checked out at 11 pm for the airport. Located in a deserted place with no real restaurants or shops. I wouldn’t recommend this place even it’s $10 a night. "
