“Just like camping. Carpet had not been vacuumed. There was one light and one outlet that could only be used for charging devices. No hair dryer or curling iron use. Two towels, no hand towels or wash cloths. Bathroom sink was only plumbed for cold water. Shower liner was peeling and there was no bathroom light. Common area was not clean. ”

“Great stay in unique setting. Description and directions and tips for stay were above and beyond. Highly recommend.”

“Lemon Tree Lanai is an excellent place for vacationers who want a real Hawai'i rain forest experience without a lot of hype and "club-med" type extras. It's a bit rustic, but clean, with beautiful flowery grounds. comfortable and convenient. The lucky geckos are a plus, visiting every evening to take care of any bugs on the lanai that might have slipped in the screen. The host is excellent, very friendly and helpful although you won't see him much after checking in. The check in process was a……

“Great distance between Hilo and Volcano National Park. Very clean. A peaceful getaway to paradise!”

“The cottage was very clean and full of household items ready for use. It's a good thing i wake up around 5am because there's a Brahma (seemed like it) rooster next door that helps with the wake up process, hehehe. No need to set your alarm on your phone. The place was breezy once I opened all the windows. Truly a Hawaii experience. Thank you host!”

“We recently stayed at this property for several days and had a really nice experience. The check-in process was smooth for the most part, and the directions provided were clear. However, we were initially given the wrong gate code, which caused a bit of confusion. Thankfully, I was able to locate the correct code in the Vrbo listing and get us in without too much trouble.Once inside the property, we did have a little difficulty finding the actual unit. It was pretty dark when we arrived, and we……

“The room is a cozy space and the hostess was very friendly and helpful. She provided additional services not expected.”

“Location, clean, quiet, freindly”

“We arrived in Hawaii only to find our booking had gone out of business and forgot to remove their VRBO ad. But we found Paradise Palms available at the last minute. Sharon and Steve worked with us and VRBO to help us straighten everything out. And we spent 3 days in the area and it was beautiful. Every day was a new adventure. ”

“The room was a superb find. Is not a new room; however is very comfortable, clean, spacious, close to everything and with lots of amenities. Its location is right in the middle of Downtown Historic Hilo. Close to the bus terminal which can take you the Volcanos Park and other locations of Hilo. Just get the bus schedule and be aware that the schedules can change and is not as clear. Ask the drivers to be sure. Our host Michele was very helpful to show and point the area and where to go. Thank……
