Waco’s premier designer home - The Halet House. Designed by the designers of Halet James Design Co, the same team that that has earned the recognition of HGTV Magazine, Modern Texas Living and Bekah Martinez from ABC’s The Bachelor.

Only 3 Minute Driving / 10 minutes Walking Distance to Magnolia.

The space
The space features modern architecture with vintage elements that showcases images of Waco’s rich history. From built in china cabinets, 20 foot tall windows, beautiful beams, vintage paintings, historical photos of waco, European antiques and more! You won’t want to miss the beautiful mural painted by a local artist on the back of the house!

The Details: Two Bedrooms with three queen beds, 1 Large bathroom with double sinks, large couch and air mattress which allows for multiple couples traveling together. Fully equipped kitchen with all major appliances, laundry room with washer and dryer. TV’s in each bedroom and living room. The large backyard and patio area are great for families and larger groups. Lawn games are also provided.

Location: Located Right off the main street of Clay Avenue and around the corner from Backyard Bar and Grill, The Findery, The Dr. Pepper Museum, and Magnolia. We also share the street with 4 other beautiful airbnbs!

We know staying in a home is different than a public place like a hotel. For insurance and guest peace of mind there is a security system.

Beautiful place to stay!

My daughter, her best friend and I enjoyed a wonderful few days in Waco! This home is absolutely lovely! There are signs of wear and tear (paint scuffs, chipping paint on cabinetry and the driveway wooden gate is unable to latch properly) and an overage of “left behind items” that made us feel uncomfortable such as old bread, crackers and hardened brown sugar. But, overall, the house itself is beautiful and well decorated. Games were disheveled and missing pieces but thoughtful items such as sealed snacks and chilled sodas were a nice surprise. I loved the welcome book and all of the information it provided! I’d recommend this location to friends and family with only the suggestion of increasing upkeep and oversight of the property.

This house is so cute, feels like it’s straight out of a magazine! Location is great, close to all things Waco and the Baylor campus. We felt safe but I was also grateful for the locking gate for the driveway to pull our truck behind.

The home was very easy to find and check into. The beds are comfortable. The AC unit is extremely quiet and does not make noise. The home was clean and the you can feel and see the attention to detail and pride the owners have for the home. Beautiful property and wish we had more nights there!

Perfect!

This house is so cute! The beds are comfy, the decor beautiful, the backyard is so big and fun! I stayed here while picking up my college kid, and made dinner for his friends in the kitchen. The kitchen/dining area were perfect for hosting, and the house was easy to find. We had a little bit of trouble with the lock box upon arrival, but the host was quick to answer our call and help us to find a solution. I would definitely stay here again!

Happy at Halet House

Our family’s trip to Waco was wonderful and the Halet House was nothing short of beautiful and comfortable. The location to the Silos District was an easy, short walk and the list of local recommendations was top notch. We would highly recommend staying here and plan to, as well, when we return!

Cute little place!!!

Cute little place! Clean, the location is really close to the silos. My 7 y/o walked it without difficulty. 3 y/o was able to walk part way. I didnt take off any stars but I would recommend blackout curtain or shade in the spare room (high up window) my child woke up scared in the middle of the night because a light was flashing in through the window.

The Best of Waco

We had the best time celebrating my daughter's 14th birthday and attending a Baylor Football Game. This was truly a designer's dream. The furnishings were 5 Star as was the home design and layout. The homeowners even had a treat waiting for us upon arrival. It's the little things that make a big difference. You must stay here if you are planning a weekend in Waco!

WOW!

When you stay at a VRBO, you always wonder if the pics and description accurately represent the property. In the case of the Halet House, it’s even better than described / shown (though Angela did a great job with pics and description). When my wife and I walked in the front door, we both said, “Wow!” in unison. Everything is first class, from the decor and the bedding, to the towels and toiletries. I’m not sure Angela and her husband could have done it any better. Truly a great experience. We highly recommend The Halet House.
