Hotel Deutsche Eiche is a very convenient location to the Marienplatz and Viktualienmarkt. Restaurant is particularly good!
However, we chose this hotel because they offered 24-hour airport shuttle service. this is not the case and has not been for over 5 years according to the desk clerks.
Perhaps they need to update the hotel amenities. The taxi ride cost an additional
$120 that we were not expecting on top of the quadrupled rates during Oktoberfest.

Had a lovely stay here! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to get around and explore. Overall, a really enjoyable experience and I’d happily stay again.

The hotel is charming and historic, centrally located close to all of the main Munich attractions. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. There were plenty of food items offered at breakfast (both hot and cold).
