Holiday weekend with friends
Great location, spent two nights and really enjoyed our stay. Temps were in the 20's over the weekend so the electric baseboard heat had a hard time keeping the "newer" part of the house warm but we kept a fire roaring in the fireplace which kept the original part of the house nice and toasty. Kitchen was well-equipped and beds were very comfortable.

Anastasia cabin
The water froze in the house the second day i was there. The Natural Retreat manager (Stacy) acted quickly once i informed her of the issue, but the plumbers were not able to make it until the afternoon. I was provided access to another property location in order to complete my needed morning hygiene. Overall, my stay was good but i wouldn't recommend this home for stays during the winter months.

Comfortable stay
Comfortable home with cabin-like feel in the country that does come with what you might expect in the country such as mice and bugs. While we didn’t see any mice, mice feces was visible throughout the home. That aside, the screened in porch was great for meals, the kitchen is well equipped, there was always hot water, and plenty of space for a family getaway.

Excellent Family Cabin
This was a great 10 days! The cabin is a cute log style with decor traditional to the style. The communication and amenities were top notch! The hot springs were less than 2 minutes away. Definitely will return!!

Cozy cottage in beautiful Warm Springs
Enjoyed our annual visit to Warm Springs at this lovely cottage with friends. Historical cabin with modern amenities close to the Waterwheel restaurant. Fireplace kept us warm and the kitchen was what we needed for a short weekend trip. The screened in porch was great to have our morning coffee. Plan to return again!

Short get away
It looked better than the pictures, warm and inviting. It was a perfect place for a laid back quite get away. We spent a lot of time on the porch with a delightful breeze. We plan on going back.

Holiday rental

Quaint Cabin
Very easy and thorough process for rental. Property company was very responsive and detailed. The cabin is very beautiful and quaint. Located in an area with great access to all the natural sites. Stunning area for peaceful retreat and relaxation.

Peaceful and quaint
This place was very clean and the location was nice. The driveway is the biggest negative as it is all torn up and very steep. Without a 4x4 its a bear. That is the only negative. It was very well stocked. Nice appointments and the town is quiant but many of the places arent open due to Covid. Watch out for surcharge on using firewood .You get one fire and then the wood there they charge you for so I needed to keep going to dollar general everynight for more wood. I loved everything about the place and would stay there again.

Getaway
Home was clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds. There is a road in front and behind the home so you do get some road noise but nothing major. Wish they had a fire pit for sitting outside. Kitchen well stocked. Would stay here again.

Wonderful stay in for short getaway
Beautiful home. Loved the decor. Easy access to nearby hikes, access to Homestead lovely. Even saw a bear (not from the home)! Home is very warm and inviting. With high temps, it was warm during the day, but A/C window units and ceiling fans sufficient. Will consider return in late fall with cooler temps to take advantage of beautiful fireplace.

Semi-rustic getaway
Our family very much enjoyed staying at the Anastasia Cabin in Warm Springs, VA. The cabin is well appointed and very comfortable. Love the screened in porch! Only downsides are the driveway which is in need of paving (in the works) and with a road in front and back it is not always quiet. The town is charming and the people are very friendly and within 30 minutes we drove to great hiking and kayaking along the Jackson River. Fabulous waterfall along the road to Covington. All in all it was a restful stay in a beautiful setting. The property manager was also very communicative which made the stay very easy.

Great stay!
Very nice cabin - well maintained and had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. The screen porch is fantastic for sitting outside and enjoying the weather but not the bugs. Only (minor) downside is you're sandwiched in between two roads so when cars/trucks go by it can be a bit noisy when sitting outside.

Short Stay
Stayed here for 3 nights while traveling in the area. Lovely well appointed cabin with all the facilities you would need. Very clean and well appointed. Only complaint would be the condition of the driveway...desperately need to be repaired as not suitable for vehicles with low ground clearance.

Perfect place for us!
From the beautiful fireplace to the well-equipped kitchen, this solid log cabin had all we needed for a relaxing weekend. Nearby hiking and fine dining a step away, we enjoyed every minute. There's even a great table for playing games.

Fun rustic home
Great little rustic cottage house. We rented it (our first experience with VRBO) 2 days before coming and everything went as planned. It has everything you need in it!

Profoundly peaceful retreat
This is my second stay at this wonderful cottage! It’s rustic yet absolutely updated and comfortable. The setting is gorgeous, the surrounding countryside is full of glorious hikes and other outdoor activities, and then you return to this immaculate and welcoming cottage. The stone fireplace is particularly romantic, and the screen porch is a fantastic place to unwind.

Very nice home with good location.
We enjoyed this home for a long weekend with our dog with us. Very convenient to the Homestead and the Warm Springs area. It has pretty furniture and was a comfortable living space. The screened porch is a nice feature.

In the heart of warm springs and nice central location to explore the area
Cozy cabin, with all the necessities. The service was excellent. Beds and accommodations comfortable . Nice screened in patio for exterior lounging. GREAT fire place!! Between two roads some some road noise and a steep driveway. Because of the "log Cabin" construction not really conducive to opening windows and getting some fresh air.

Comfortable, Beautiful Log Cabin
This home is well-constructed and cozy with separate area temperature controls. It has two private bedrooms, plus two open areas with sofa beds and a nice kitchen. So, plenty of room for up to 9 people; 2.5 bathrooms.

Thank you for your wonderful review of Anastasia Cottage. The original part of the cabin dates back to the mid 1800's. The location of the cottage sets in the village of Warm Springs, steps away from The Gristmill Waterwheel Restaurant, Warm Springs Spirits Spa, Bath County Historical Preservation, and the county library. Guests love to wrap up with a blanket and enjoy the wood burning fireplace at night. In the mornings, they love to have coffee in the screened in patio. We hope to have back to our beautiful county in the future.
