"This place was so relaxing, unique, awesome host and will be in the top 3 of the best places I have stayed in the last 20 years. My best friend and I came down to Dad's weekend to hang out with his son and 2 friends. We watched the OSU game together and laughed so much and then everyone took a nap before we went outside to cook some dinner. Just a magical place, I would have given it a 6 star, but they would not let me. MUST STAY! Thank you again Ana for being such a great host and we will be back!"

"Kick Back Cabin was in a great location in the woods, private & had lots of great amenities including being pet friendly. It was very clean & the hot tub was crystal clear & clean. We enjoyed the fire pit both nights as well. The only downside was the couch wasn't very comfortable & the decor could use a few updates. The door handle to the front door should also be replaced.I would definitely recommend this cabin, especially if you have a dog! Fenced in area & fenced in deck area - both w/ doggy doors! "

"Everything was great! The property was exactly as advertised. It’s a pretty small and simple cabin, but 3 adults and 1 child never felt cramped. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and walking the onsite trails. Perfect location for both Athens and Hocking Hills. WiFi worked great for streaming. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation!"

It’s tucked away in a peaceful wooded area in New Marshfield, giving me that true “middle of nature” feeling while still being close enough to enjoy both Hocking Hills and Athens. The location couldn’t be better — I spent one day hiking at Old Man’s Cave and could easily spend another exploring the shops and restaurants in Athens.The cabin itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and stocked with everything I needed. The hot tub is amazing after a long day of exploring, and I loved ending the evening by the fire pit. The hosts clearly put a lot of care into making the space cozy and welcoming, from the comfortable furniture to the thoughtful little touches throughout.If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing escape that’s still close to everything, this is the best cabin you’ll find in the area. I can’t wait to come back!"
