“I booked this property because it acepts dogs. When I arrived the owner was quite horrible with me about my dog. Apparently you need to state about your dog coming even though the website doesn't state that! Poor communication and as a paying customer I was put off by the owners attitudes ”

“Spacious, well equipped rooms. Good selection of options on Restaurant menu. Also great value for money.
Only slight negative was the bed was quite hard compared to our preferences and the pillows were too thin providing limited support for a side sleeper. ”

“We had a wonderful stay in the Shephards Hut at the White Horse. The experience genuinely surpassed my expectations. The Hut itself is very high quality, and the amenities were great. A very well furnished kitchenette enabled us to cook a hearty breakfast - with all of the ingredients for a fry up provided for us in the fridge! A very lovely experience, and our dinner in the pub on the day of our arrival was very good too!”

“West Stow is close to the Kings forest which is great if you have dogs or great if you don’t. The cottage was perfect and wildlife is all around. The horse in the field whilst washing dishes, the munkjac deer crossing the field and all kinds of birds made the trip memorable. A lovely place for a restful stay but with plenty of fun trips on the doorstep.”

“Fabulously equipped property with lovely character and a homely feel. The garden areas were perfect for the children and the added touch of outdoor and indoor games to play kept them occupied whatever the weather. Great base to get out and about exploring Suffolk and Norfolk. The pictures don’t do the property justice, it has everything you need and more! The owners live next door; it was lovely to meet them, the welcome treats and flowers set on the kitchen windowsill were a kind and thoughtful……

“A comfortable small lodge / glamping pod set in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. Had everything we needed to help make our 2 nights an easy and enjoyable experience. Criticisms were minor: a little detritus (possibly dog hair?) on the floor on arrival; a broken toilet roll holder; a bed sheet that was too small for the mattress. “What a wonderful spot! On the outskirts of town (but walking distane of the shops and train station), secluded outside but spacious for two within, this is somewhere we'd definitely like to return to.With a good sized kitchen and ample living area and outside dining area, this was a refreshing and relaxing place for a few days away, but well located for coastal attractions like Southwold, local nature reserves and historical sites like Grimes Graves.The garden is lovely to watch of a summers……
